Just ignore him. As for the topic, that cat from BCU is sick. He fits their offense to a T. Say what you want, but they were playing the defending SWAC champions. On the other hand, Kindle's currently leading the nation in passing efficiency. Gotta give him some for that. PV won the SWAC in 2009. They were 3rd in the SWAC West in 2010.

I hope Kindle doesn't get hurt and throws for over 300 yards against App. State. That is the only way we keep this game close.

Texas Southern beat Alabama State for the SWAC Championship 2010 11 to 6.

Oh yeah, thanks for the correction. I barely follow SWAC ball. How in the world did they get to go get beat up by BCU?
Thay being typed, we were playing a team in their first game with their starting defensive backfield in jail. BCU was playing an established team. I give Kindle his props for coming back from injury, but I can't begin to make him out as the best qb in the meac for torching this particular team.
Westcoast, if Kindle goes over 300 against App, it might mean we were forced to pass early and often because we got down too quick. That wouldn't be a good thing.

I'll no were we stand with in the next 2 weeks. I agree, If we had played WSSU to open I would really love this schedule. Playing teams like App and Coastal really give us a good barometer of where we are and need to get to.

i think its too early to proclaimed kindle as the best in the meac. but if he stays healthy, i'm convinced he should make all meac by seasons end.
bcu's qb looks pretty good, i saw him play against prairie view. he's a transfer from the maryland terps. but the reason bcu was able to run up the score on prairie view is because prairie view "consistently" shot themselves in the foot. they had a ton of turnovers, some of which went for bcu touchdowns.
bcu looked good, but prairie view made them look like world beaters...

But BCU was laying some wood to that arse too. BCU looked in mid-season form and they came to play and they were ready to play. If they played today do you think PV would be within three TDs of BCU? I don't.

I'm having trouble thinking of any hbcu team that would have been within three touchdowns of the BCU team that played the other day.

I don't. indeed, bcu laid some wood! absolutely no question about that. but i don't think the hard hits caused all the fumbles. i don't know if they played today if they would come within 3 td's of bcu. but if given a second chance, most teams would play better the second time. i certainly wouldn't anticipate bcu putting up over 60 points on them again. seemingly, we're the only team they can do that to whenever they feel like it...

If BCU gets thru the first 4 games 3-1, they'll be in good shape (the "U" will beat them well). But they can be beaten and as bigpeete1 is saying...they'll have a difficult time with SCSU.
