I think the seats on the visitors side were $5.00. Can't do much better than that.
Most people would pay ten times that for a chance to get on t.v.

It ashame when the conference gets on TV it appears to be know one at the games since the cameras are usally filming from the home side. What you see on TV is the sparcly populated vistors side.
Are the MEAC ESPNU football games all set for the season ?

i saw it and other than the abundance of penalties, i thought it was a pretty well played game. but i'm not so sure that the rest of the meac will be able to contain bcu like hampton did. hampton is "loaded" with d1 transfers and bcu has quite a few too. hampton was able to match bcu's athleticism and legree had a pretty decent game once they figured out they weren't gonna be able smash mouth run the ball down bcu's throat.
i think bcu got off to a fast start because they had several more days off than hampton, they hadn't played a game since losing to scsu almost 2 weeks ago. plus hampton had to make the trip down to daytona after an emotional loss to odu only 5 days ago. but once hampton got their legs under them, they responded quite well. legree's incredible scrambling bomb for a 50 yard td sparked hampton and it was "game on" from that point forth.
we saw bcu do some things that's uncharacteristic of them and that was turning the ball over. i think it will be fairly easy sailing for bcu the rest of the way. i'm still not convinced that norfolk is as good as they looked against west virginia in the first half. i think bcu's only concern will be famu and that's only because its a rivalry game.
bcu will be on espn about 6 times this season. i guess that goes to show when you have an outstanding season like they did, you get rewarded for it...

My bad fellas...I started a thread about the BCU/Hampton game. Didn't realize you guys were discussing it here. It was a game of highlights though...both teams have tremendous speed, even though BCU plays on a fast track. Do you guys think the final call was the correct one? I thought the rule that was applied only existed in the NFL...when you have to control the ball through the ground in order for it to be a catch. Has the NCAA instituted the same rule?

No it was not the correct call. Hampton was truly robbed and I would not doubt that some kind ofa deal was done from the Commish's wink, wink, nod, nod of approval with the devil to keep BCU's at large playoff chances alive.
I am confident that a further review of the call by the NCAA or a third party will point out that the call was totally incorrect.

I see everyone one talking about all the D-1 players that BCU/ Hampton have, And From what I saw after seeing BCU play twice and Hampton once. I'm not impressed with either Team at all. They are both beatable, Hampton more so then Cookman but beatable all the same. BCU Reggie Sandilands and Ryan Davis are outstanding defensive players other then that nothing.
