Oleschool is not only vindicated on the scoreboard pool but who was absolutely correct in his assessment of the skills of Lewis Kindle as a being a top tier quarterback but who is finally getting the coaching from a top tier OC and QB coach he needed in the off season.
Four TDS passing, one TD rushing, and damn near 400 yards in offense in only his third collegiate game.

Hell, we dropped at least 8 to 10 passes today. He should have had close to 500 yards passing. Kindle throws a tight ball on the money but he needs to know when to throw the ball away and also slide feet first when he tries to run.
Ricky Lewis was not used at all last year to any degree. I don't know what the hell Coach Lee was looking at. Every time he ran the ball it was for positive yards. That is why he is gone. Did not know talent.
I think we will be o k in the MEAC. We should win 5 to 6 games. With some luck maybe more.

thanks folks. just got home in the wee hours of the morning today and i'm tired. but i got a chance to meet ricky lewis's dad at the game and i told him how much bdv loves his son. he reacted like any aggie parent would, as if he was over joyed with pride.
on sunday, spent a little time with family and friends way out in madison, nc where there ain't nothin' but a hole lot of country. had a nice time though and it was good to be back in my home state again.
unfortunately, i missed the first quarter of the game. got there a little late. but enjoyed what i saw, even though i wasn't very impressed with vul. glad we had a chance to work some kinks out before we play app state. hopefully we got out of saturday's game without any significant injuries...
