I want to see how our special teams will look. We need to pass the ball better than last year . I wonder how Mayhew will be used, i would love to see more screens.

I like our chances against VUL, Del. State, Howard. But Morgan, NCCU and Norfolk are crap shoots....roll the dice. that's pretty close to how i see it too...

decks deserves the "investigative reporter of the year" award. dude, you always seem to come up with elusive information that no one else on this board seemingly can...

A&T will not sneak up on any MEAC team because you can bet your last dollar, there isn't a head coach in the MEAC that will take A&T lightly with Broadway at the helm. These coaches know that Broadway is a winner and if one of their team makes too many mistake, Broadway's team will hang a big "L" on their record.
This is why I don't see more than 2 wins for the Aggies this year, a win in game one and maybe Howard U. As far as the first win in game one, who knows if that game would even count by NCAA rules. VUL is an exhibition game in my opinion.

I think we can beat Del. State, they have Kermit Blount up there. If the games come down to Xs and Os then watch out...we may beat a bunch of folk. But, if it's more of a numbers game then we'll be in trouble. Numbers meaning more scholarship players vs. our number of scholarship players.

as of now, i'm thinking we'll be lucky if we win 3 games this season. however, i truly believe if broadway finds a way to soundly close that gaping hole in the middle of the d-line, i think we could win as many as 6 games...

Aggiejazz may have a point though...coaches/schools know Broadway's pedigree so, now is there chance to beat him, they may just take advantage. You kick a brotha when he's down...but he won't be down long.

Broadway will put the best that we have on the field. I don't believe in numbers. I believe in the elven on offense and the elven on defense that's it . Like I said before we will have a good season!!

You must didn't see our eleven on defense vs. BCU's eleven on offense last year.

At this level it's all about discipline, execution and turnovers to win; not so much in terms of talent on the field. I've seen Broadway win at Grambling with these types of demeanor. That's why Grambling beat PV every year except one in the State Fair Classic. Ever wonder why MEAC schools lose in the first round every year in D-2 playoffs. I'm sure some of those teams that win have last talent players.

when you have significantly fewer scholarship athletes compared to your competition, it really hurts in terms of depth. especially during the latter part of the season when injuries are very prevalent.
in that case, if you have to turn to your backups to replace injured starters, you'll likely replace them with "walk-ons" rather than scholarship athletes. that's where broadway will really feel the pinch and that's how our lack of scholarships may negatively impact our performance.
hopefully if we can stay relatively healthy over the course of the season, it will have less of a negative impact on us. but its very unlikely that we'll go relatively injury free for a whole season...

Yea its hard to make through the entire season without looking down your bench.
One other thing that should play in are favor - no one in the MEAC has a clue as to what offensive schemes our new O-Coord will run. Lets just hope whatever we run that we execute it well and players are disciplined in their on field assignments.
I kind lack the fact that no one really has film on us. And would encourage our opponents to study hard on last years film !!!
