That is nice, but at $50 million if A&T had the money I know a few other places we should put it. In fact the plans are in place and we are starting the projects...New Student Health Center...Student Union, and Bookstore.

I like it. It seats 26,500, so its not too big for ASU.
But, our new press box is a pretty decent addition, so I cant hate on A&T for this one. A little more brick and stone work in certain places and our stadium will be one of the best in Div1-AA again. Its just something about brick structures and black gates that make a place look much better.
I guess the new thing is to make the outside of your football stadium not look like the outside of a football stadium. The colts did an excellent job of that.

i like asu's new design, but i'd like it more if the homeside of the stadium wasn't disproportionately bigger than the visitors side. i like the proportionality of aggie stadium and famu's bragg stadium where both stadiums resemble a bowl and the seating is only slightly more on the home side. just my preference though, nothing wrong with asu's design.
and i agree with monster, i'd like to see a&t add more concrete or brick to our stadium. it gives the stadium a more professional look...

I agree aggie monster, especially about brick and black gates. Agreed! That would help our stadium improve its look. Better yet if they use the same types of finishes that are being used on our newer buildings on campus would help integrate the stadium into the new design of the campus. (Thanks Andy Perkins...lol)

No "major" renos would be needed.

I don't think they are saying make Aggie Stadium bigger, just improve the look of the facade!! Before Rennick left he had plans to do just that, brick up the facade. I got a chance to see the plans and they were really nice. This could still be done.

Why do we need a bigger stadium when its only full for 3 games , Homecoming...... NCCU and WSSU not that i'm complaining, but i said the same thing about the proposed new convocation center. i was shocked to see it was still in the plans to be built a few years down the road. we never sellout corbett except against wssu and nccu. but hey, i'm not complaining. i'd luv to have a brand new convocation center, especially if we're not gonna make major renovations to corbett. i've been complaining for years how corbett has fallen behind most other basketball venues in the meac...

I agree...its something about brick columns and Wrought iron gates that just adds an aire of class to any football stadium...would be nice to if the ticket booths and concessions on the home side (at least) blended in with new press box...I guess that could be a Phase 2 type project for the stadium

The Professor (Why do we need a bigger stadium when its only full for 3 games , Homecoming...... NCCU and WSSU ) Why not!! Its called Visual perception the better the look the better the perception. In time I can see A & T adding more sets and having bigger a bigger fan base. It may not be in my time but it will happen. We just have to have that VISION. If you think small you will stay small!!!!
