Coach Broadway really has his work cut-out for him. He is playing catch-up without scholarships and money. Think about it, A&T is $2.2 million dollars behind SC State and years behind them in experience playing talent rich and very good teams. I think Broadway can out-coach Buddy Pough but he can't make up all of that difference.
Think about it, NCCU just became a full-fledge Div I member and we are about 2 years and approximately 1/2 million dollars behind them and they have a very good headcoach.
Broadway also has a very strict gpa and SAT requirement so the program can improve its APR but he still doesn't have the tutors in sufficient numbers or the money to take some tutors on the road if need be.
Thank goodness for A&T that Broadway is a really good coach. I wasn't for Broadway's big salary but I fear this program would be heading into deep loser's pugatory without him and it still odds-on favor it might still happen with him or should I say continue.

We can't play FBS games due to our APR. It will not count as a win for the FBS team towards their bowl win count. So its pointless for them to play us The fact that we can't play FBS "money games" because of our APR situation right now has been clearly-stated for months on this board. WE ALL KNOW THAT. Ironically, this article was published today just for your clarification : If everyone knows, then why talk about it then. Let's talk about ways and ideas to get our players more tutors and help in the classroom. So we can play money games. Let's talk about raising money to send our strength and conditiong coaches to clinics so they can learn new ideas to help our players get faster and stronger Sitting back and celebrating SCSU sucess ain't doing a thing for A&T.

No doubt but we (A&T) needs to have a full grasp of the situation and understand what its currently costing us and how to prevent this in the future.
I know some will say Hilton / Broadway did not contribute to this issue; which is 100% true but the fact of the matter is that we have had multiple Football Coaches, Athletic Directors, and Chan.'s over the past 10 years. We have to be sure we are setting a course to prevent this issue and our recent history does not fill me with confidence. Therefore the reason to ensure Martin and everyone else has a grasp on this.
