Five solid high school verbal commitments thus far that I know of and they are all linemen.

Based on what we have on the current team...who should remain for next season?

Hope they plan on offering some of these local kids. RB #25 and WR #9 at Page are uncommitted

The kid left right after spring practice like the Charlotte kid now at WSSU so who knows where he may show up. Remember Grambling had 23 commitments before Broadway left and Williams ended up signing only 16 of those kids. No one has seen or heard from the ones that decided not go there on signing day.

He actually would have been a sophomore (or redshirt freshman) when Broadway left. I literally can't find a thing on him.

You think he could quietly be lurking somewhere around Greensboro somewhere? Broadway and his staff don't say much if anything on recruits or transfers and they all shy away from the public on this topic even though those of us that follow these things eventually run these things down in due course.

Wouldn't surprise me considering some of the invisibles we've heard about. And at his size, who would have any idea he was a qb? He's just some dude in Biology class.
Or he could be at North Greenville or Newberry. We won't know for a while.

A&T has offered a scholarship to DE/OLB Calvin Pate (6’4/220, 4.6) from New Bern, NC (New Bern HS). bout time somebody on our staff looked down east for some ballers!! new bern is my former high school and we just beat cape fear in the 2nd round of the 4A playoffs last week by a score of 59-21. we're 11-1 this season and only a couple of years removed from winning the state 4AA championship beating charlotte independence in the championship game. finally we've got a coach who looks further east than raleigh! new bern has been a 4A "power" for many years now. and, only 15 miles to the east in the same county is another state "powerhouse" in havelock high school which is currently an "undefeated" 3A school (13-0) ranked 3rd in the state and the only team to beat new bern this season. they've put up more than 70 points in multiple games this season and last week won their 2nd round playoff game 63-7 over west cateret. these schools are only 15 miles apart and both are traditional state powers. there's a lot of talent down east! bout time somebody in aggieland paid attention...
