It's been past time that A&T has an athletic annual campaign.

Maybe, but our endowment is still embarassing. Methinks that would take precedence. Plus it's kinda hard to convince people to give when you're continually mis-spending the money and not doing your part.

It still would be wise if Chancellor Martin, Mr. Hilton, Dr. Kiel and our Development team along with the AAF sat down and devised a plan for an Annual & Capital Campaign. Besides, it's time for another Capital Campaign for the University as a whole anyways with the state cutting the UNC System funding by upwards of 15 percent.

Has the Alumni Association ever done a capital campaign?

If we're going by records then tennis coach, James Dunwoody will probably be next. Of course the man virtually has no chance at getting more than one or two wins a year considering he has no assistant coaches and almost everyone else in the conference is recruiting European and South American players. This is a perfect example of being set up to fail. Not True...check your pm

As a matter fact, an effort was made by Wheeler Brown to recruit her back to A&T from SCSU after he became AD. If she had 1)been fired or 2)been mishandling compliance, then she would not have been invited back. Also, she won the MEAC tournament at SCSU this past year (the first time in a loooong time anyone other than FAMU won. She just got hired a Coppin.
