Maybe someone from the A&T athletic administration or sports marketing can help me out.
What is there to look forward to this season and in the years ahead?

Seriously. Some things I'm looking forward to. I can't get 10, but here's a couple.
1. Running game (Chancellor and Ferguson) should be a very good 1-2 combo 2. Improved QB play. Let's not forget we started two freshmen last year 3. Solid group of WRs returning 4. Secondary should be formidable 5. Very good Home Schedule. NCCU, Hampton, Norfolk and BCC for Homecoming is very appealing
Okay, I got halfway there. Somebody help me out

This would be a good time for Dee Todd or someone in her department to chime in.

I can give you a couple things to be excited about.
Be excited about the enthusiasm that you and the rest of the people on this board show toward Aggie Athletics. Not only that be proud of the efforts that you put forth to make a difference. FINANCIALLY...
Anything outside of that none of us have any control of. Things will get better when the dollars show up to make them better. Everything is tied to the finances and the business of athletics... scholarships, recruiting.. everything....
Be optimistic about improvement on the gridiron... optimism brings excitement...
If that doesnt do it for you.. then be excited that right after the South Carolina State football game.... basketball season starts....... thats bout all i can give you bruh....

What are some of the things that the A&T athletic department staff is currently doing to improve the business of athletics? Are there any corporate development projects in the works?

Thats a good question, but one that I cant answer. All development questions related to new projects should go to the director of development for athletics ..
Hopefully my few items helped you a little bit.

1. There's no way in hell we'll be as bad as we were last year. 2. On paper several of our skill position guys are ready for prime time. 3. The coaches should be extra-motivated to do some teaching since they spent all last season getting taken to school. 4. Same for the players. 5. The coaches have a year under their belt and there should be some continuity for the returning players. 6. Nobody expects much, we might be able to sneak up on somebody or somebodies. 7. Smash Sumthin 8. Golden delight 9. Late September/Early October games in Aggie Stadium with beautiful weather and that smell and noise of the stadium. 10. DOOMS won't be at homecoming to sneak liquor in and sell it to underage drinkers.
How hard was that?

OK. Well are there any football-related marketing campaigns we can look forward to this year?

There are no NEW marketing plans. We havent mastered what we've set before the people. We are still doing SOLID GOLD.. thats a multi year theme.

I'm gonna have to ask the wife to buy me a couple of gold polos for father's day. I need to start repping Solid Gold at the work place too.

AMM, Can we begin to get a sponsor or two to do a few SOLID GOLD giveaways this year? You know, first 500 people get a gold T sorta thing. I'm convinced that doing a few giveaways will to prime the pump will incent more people to buy GOLD.

Yeah, let's partner with Bojangles or another one of our main corporate sponsors and produce some Solid Gold t-shirts this year. You can slap their logo on the back (great advertisment opportunity) and then charge them an advertising fee equal to whatever the price it would take to produce 5,000 or 10,000 shirts.

Thrilla/Alexander's Daddy
The SUPER INTERNS are already working on the tshirt sponsorships. They are calling local companies (outside of our corporate sponsors) and getting them to purchase 250 shirts with their logo on the back and our NEW Aggie Maniacs 12th Man Shirts..( youll have to come thru so i can slide you one.. its a hot shirt)
If you have any companies that you know people that we can approach please let me know.
