This is excellent! Why can't the Aggie Club and/or the Athletic department do the same? This was destined for BDF to do. Part of that trailblazer spirit. It's also targeted for what BDF determined was important to us collectively right now and has a beginning and an end. That's good stuff. Hats off the Thrilla! Everyone start giving and put your name on that scrolling list and keep it there. AGGIE PRIDE!

Thrilla, you got me. This is such a great idea I had to support the thinking out of box. I'm in for the price of a football game ticket. I really look forward to doing this again for Aggies other sports.

We'll definitely repeat this for basketball and baseball.
Contrary to popular belief, A&T fans have no problem giving back to their school and athletic programs. Its just that, in the past, the process of donating money to A&T was akin to having a root canal. Now that the entire process has been made effortless, the contributions will flow.
In just one day and a half we've successfully raised $1,560.00.

In just one day and a half we've successfully raise $1,560.00. More importantly, A&T process for cashing checks or whatever takes too long. Case in point, I gave $ to the general fund alumni fund last year by credit card and it never appeared on my statement. With black folks, if you don't cash our checks for three months or so in most instances we are going to add that $back into our accounts....just the facts. Don't know if the Aggie Club or Victory club have the same practice but we need to tighten up all around. This process makes giving easier...thanks Thrilla!

All we need is $340 more to get to $2,000 by the end of the day.
Then we would have achieved 10 percent of our total goal in less than five days!

Proving once again that you can never say never, Jamiah Waterman just entered the gold club with a $100 donation.
We're now at $1,760. Let's keep it going.

I finally got my first check from the internship and joined the fun, and I decided to post it on facebook in the DC Alumni Association group we just started. Hopefully we'll get a few donations from there.
