This Aaron Coles kid whose coming here on a academic scholarship is pretty good run stopper. He's not real tall at 5-11, 260 but he's very strong and quick out of his set. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oj2NW2MEj0A

I got word from my old school that strong safety/outside linebacker Keenan Smith wants to play for A&T. He stands at around 6'0 185, the kid can hit and can cover well..somebody better get a hold of this kid.

We just picked up an All-conference tackle from Raleigh Leesville Road... www.highschoolot.com/content/blogpost/9217034/Leesville Road's Morris picks NC A&T By Nick Stevens Posted at 2:17 p.m. Leesville Road offensive guard and defensive tackle James Morris will play football at NC A&T next fall. Former Leesville Road football coach David Green confirmed Morris' commitment in an e-mail to HighSchoolOT.com. At 6-foot-2 and 275-pounds, Morris played both ways for the Pride last season. He recorded 38 tackles last season at defensive tackle, earning All-Conference recognition in the Cap 8. Morris expects to play defensive line for coach Rod Broadway at NC A&T. If a both sides of the ball player is coming from Leesville Rd is coming I'll take em. I love that program. Good coaching and good character kids

oh my gawd! are we really cursed or what? is there anything "positive" going on within aggie athletics? athletically speaking, i don't know how much longer i can take our inept ways "across the board".
i hate to say it, but i'm beginning to feel like perhaps i should take a break from aggie athletics for a couple of years and come back later. i'm tired of never winning championships in any sports except women's basketball, having the worst hbcu football program in the country, and amongst the worst overall athletic programs in the meac.
i'm a hardcore aggie diehard supporter. i've stuck with a&t and donated my dollars thru the leanest of years when hardly anybody else would. but i just can't keep tolerating ineptness year after year after year. its been a very tough year in athletics at a&t. attendance is way down in both football and basketball. if we haven't already done so, we're losing our identity as an athletic force in the meac.
wow! just wow. i'm running out of steam...

Take deep breaths oleschool. We cant lose what we never had. None of these boys have proven their worth in my opinion, so everyone is expendable right now. Pissing players off is part of taking control back. Broadway knows what he is doing. Attitudes and shenanigans cannot be tolerated(from ANYONE) if we want to turn this around. Do you really want a QB that doesn't want to go to practice?

monster, i'm not frustrated over any one single event. i'm frustrated over multiple events, not just football. just take a look at this school year of athletics at a&t. not just football, but all the sports. if you find an meac championship "anywhere" or close to it, please let me know. hail, let me know if you can even find an meac "runner-up" anywhere.
i'm just sick of our sorry azz athletic department. admittedly, i'm rather emotional today because of 2 unexpected first round bailouts in the meac tournament yesterday. maybe i'll regroup myself over the weekend. but i'm tired of getting my hopes up every year only to fall on our faces.
all year long, is there any positive news in aggie athletics? in football? nope! in basketball? nope! in volleyball? hail nope! in track and field? absolutely hail nope! but i guess we'll just have to wait and see how baseball and softball turns out.
now, is there plenty of negative news in aggie athletics? hail yeah there is! and plenty of it! i won't even list the negative news, there's plenty and its easy to find.
so my frustration comes from an "accumulation" of negative events across the board in aggie athletics and yesterdays 2 bailouts was kind of my tipping point. for over a decade now, a&t has only won a "very few" meac championships across the board in all sports. that's pathetic! during that same time period, we've had "winless" or "near winless" seasons in football, both men's and women's basketball, and volleyball. a&t is "never ever" in the conversation for the meac men or women's all sports award. we "constantly" have 1 or more sports programs at or near the very bottom of the meac! and i for one am sick and tired of it.
hopefully the chancellor will be visiting the washington, dc aggie club in the near future and if so, i will attend and ask him some very straight questions regarding the direction of aggie athletics, not just football and basketball. i want to know if he is aware of the "horrid" overall performance of our athletic department relative to the meac over the last 15 years or so. i want to know if it bothers him as much as it bothers me? if not, we have no hope to do better in the future. success starts at the top and if the top doesn't care, don't expect things to get any better...

Stewart went with Cooper, they both were involved in an altercation where charges were pressed against them, Kindle missing practices, not acting as a leader. With the Kindle thing, you all know what goes down at A&T in the spring time; people start 'disappearing' from sight to accomplish some things. Hopefully that is the reason why he has been absent and will be just fine during spring practice.
