If you are having nightmares, you are going to have to think about more pleasant things such as your wife giving you a new car or Halle Berry before bedtime. That is because the contract given to Eaves by big WB is written in indelible ink. Heck, his son will be playing for him in a couple of years. He will be that big guard that we desperately need. So you see he is not going anywhere anytime soon. Sleep well. Pleasant dreams. Think of football. Pressbox.

We might need WB Jr. cause Eaves might revert to shooting 3's next yr w/o a decent BIG MAN w/Coleman leaving We might need a big guard to screen for some of our shooters. We might even name our new prospective 2 guard Big Wheel!!!Im gonna think bout Ms. Berry 2nite just to get in the mood and get some PEACE and SLEEP!!!

He's has no lifetime contact by but he's not going anywhere either with a graduation rate of 97%, playing decent but not great ball, and his scheduling has kept the line economically up for the athletic department from drowning until now with a bad football program.
He's about to sign a strong replacement for Coleman at center, a nice point guard who is sitting out this year, and has signed a pretty good 6-6 shooting guard coming out of Arkansas (JUCO) hitting 49 percent from the three line with hops.
He's not the best that's out there but not the worst by any stretch with a young team like this one. Let things run their course unless the bottom falls completely out. He's not up for the chopping block as much as a few fans would like.
That's simply not going to happen. Make no mistake, football has taken the stage front and center at A&T and until that program starts to win and have big time success, Eaves is in no danger whatsoever.
No one in this league is unbeatable this year.

Any time I see fire and committment that is fine w/me because I want Eaves to "feel" us because he is at his best when he gets involved from the bench instead of just sitting back. I know he has a laid-back personality but if they are agressive they stand a shot against anybody in the MEAC. If he has some recruits coming in next year that can step it up that's wats up!!! Certainly a good replacement at center, bigger pt. guard, and knock down shooter will put is in the hunt. Wat bout the kid from Florida that we signed at the 2 spot for next yr? I heard he is a pure shooter.

The "lifetime contract" was not to be taken seriously. It was to suggest that Eaves will be with us for some time to come like it or not. If he were at another type of school in another conference, his longevity would have run out four years ago. However, with the upheaval in athletics, and his so called fund raising (only coach in America with that ability) skill, and finally with scholarly athletes has given him cover for longevity (especially the upheaval part).
I will take a wait and see attitude about his new players or recruits, because every year I read (assessments from a lot of posters) and also hear of how great they are, only to be disappointed or mildly pleased. Hopefully, this group will be as great as advertised.

It's been said let things run its course until "the bottom falls completely out." What will it take cause we are STUCK at .500 in MEAC w/ "Mr. .500in MEAC"(Eaves). I dont agree w/that approach and most schools that are PROGRESSIVE w/their athletic programs do not share that same opinion. I aint been around long, but Ive been around long enough to know that insanity is doing the same thing, expecting different results. Its time for people to wake up!!! Call Obama, Bev. Perdue, (anybody except w/last name "Re-Todd", Curtis Hunter, or Lee Fobbs or Fobber--whatever his name WAS).

After evey lose r we goin to come to this blog? Nobody had anything to say when he beat the team wit the best record in the conference but now he loses to a team the was picked to finish behind Morgan you come and talk about firing him... you guys really make no sense talk about his bad habits to sub a hot player when he wins a game not only when the team loses.

Im not new to this--I am true to this!!! I have been talking to Dowdy for the last 2 yrs. that Eaves has taken us as far as he IS capable of taking us!!! Hail---I WANT to be wrong about "Mr..500 in MEAC" but he hasn't proved me to be WRONG. We are now 7-6 in MEAC and SCSU WAS 2-10 BEFORE they played US!!! This is much more an AGGIE thang, not a Eaves(.500 in MEAC) thang!!! It is BIGGER than Eaves, we talking bout what's best for A&T. If loving my school is wrong, I dont want to be RIGHT!!

Im praying to the BIG BULL DOGG in the sky to find another job for Eaves("Mr..500 in MEAC") so he can take another team for a .500 ride. Maybe Bibbs can coach BOTH teams---that way we can fire "Mr..500 in MEAC" and save some cash in the process. What will be sooooo good is we will have a better coach for the men's team. "Momma may have and Daddy may have --but GOD bless the child that's got it's own." Just MAYBE 'Mr..500 in MEAC" will do the right thing and RESIGN!!! We need somthing good to happen to our sports programs after going through all this crazy, insane bu-l sh-t. Maybe Eaves will read this and realize he CAN fool SOME people but he cant fool ERRRRBODY!!!
