We haven't played NCCU in November since I been an Aggie, so who knows how it will turn out.
Maybe its smart since the football hype normally wears off by November and attendance is lacking anyway. 20K in November equals 26K in September in my opinion. If we are good, we could still get that 23-26K playing NCCU last. Start winning again and we wont have to worry about it at all.

I'm from the old days also and I guarantee it doesn't matter what the records are, or what the temperature is, come that late Fall Saturday there will be at least 20k at the game.
I thought the rivalry had subsided some over the years. It was mostly on our side, because we didn’t view them as our equals, so if we loss to them, it only meant we sucked and if we won so what, we're suppose to beat them. To them it's a whole different animal and that’s the way it use to be with us. Remember they actually had a parade on campus one year after they beat us in football.
Watch what happens tonight. That will give indication of the rebirth of a very heated rivalry that has endured for generations. Henry Frazier is the perfect addition to this rivalry, after being shunned by us two ago, and whether it’s Broadway or Maynor, just makes it better and better.

I will also add that's why we have struggled against them in football and basketball over the last couple of years. This is their SuperBowl!! Our fanbase doesn't treat it the same. We've got to come out with intensity and Eaves and whoever the football coach is has got to understand that.

Ya'll just don't know, this rivalry is insane. A dude once drove his car on the field. Got out and started giving NCCU's players "low fives".
This is the best game to close out the season.

The dude that drove the car on to the field was my homeboy. I always wanted to ask him how he got his car inside the stadium because the game was played at Duke stadium (W. Wade).

Bigboy, I would Love to hear more about this story. I'm the author of the NC A&T-nccu rivalry & the Aggie-eagle classic articles on Wikipedia and would love to include the story about that game in my work

After the hyped atmosphere at the basketball game last night, I think that you just might be right! The difference between last night and a day game in November, CLIMATE CONTROL. You sound like some of those folks who cancel high school football games because of rain (like they do in both Charlotte and Tallahassee). Other than the old and feeble, a little cool weather in mid-November will not deter Aggies (or Eagles) from attending this game.

If that's the case , why hasn't A&T had more than 10 K for a game since November 1999? I guess the Aggie fans aren't coming out unless its NCCU
