After seeing Brian Jenkins have them on the beach at daybreak doing Marine drills, they deserve to be undefeated.

I wonder who they will get in the first round of the playoffs....I might have to come back down here for that one I doubt that they will submit a bid to host a first round game. They'll probably be on-the-road...somewhere in Virginia vs. a CAA team would be my guess.

Well, folks that shows us all what coaching can do for you. Even though they beat up on my squad, I enjoyed watching BCU play...they didn't have silly penalties and their execution was flat out flaw-less. The first touchdown they scored fooled me...I didn't know the qb had the ball until he was 10 yards down field and kept running through the secondary. I definitely hope they represent well in the playoffs...they do have to work on the field goal kicker though.

You didn't know the QB had the ball cause our defenders were tackling the wrong guy, LOL. you had "Aggie hope" that they were making a good play, ROFL..

Mayhew Reaches 1,000, Aggies Fall To Wildcats Courtesy: NC A&T Sports Information Release: 10/29/2010
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., -- Junior running back Mike Mayhew was the bright spot in what otherwise was a very dim night for the North Carolina A&T football team.
Led by quarterback Matt Johnson, the 12th ranked Bethune-Cookman Wildcats rushed for 461 yards and compiled 621 yards of offense in a 67-17 win over the Aggies Thursday night at Municipal Stadium.
The game aired live on ESPNU. But the broadcast took an awkward twist when lightning struck a generator near the stadium, causing a complete blackout inside the stadium at the 3:37 mark of the first quarter. The blackout led to a near two-hour delay. The two teams didn't start play again until 9:52 p.m. Therefore, a game that started at 7:35 p.m., didn't end until 12:32 a.m.
N.C. A&T's offense appeared to benefit from the lengthy delay, but nothing could slow down the Wildcats' offensive attack. Before the lights went out, the Wildcats had already compiled more than 200 yards of offense and held a 20-0 lead.
Mayhew led the Aggies response. He had two 21-yard carries on a 4-play drive that ended with a 4-yard Ricky Lewis touchdown.
Bethune-Cookman continued to score, however. The Wildcats followed up the Aggies drive with an 11-play drive that an Androse Bell touchdown. An interception by B-CU linebacker Ryan Davis returned possession to the Wildcats as they took over at the Aggies 10-yard line.
Isidore Jackson gave the Wildcats their fifth score in as many possessions with a 1-yard touchdown that put B-CU in front 32-7.
"Our defense didn't come to play tonight,'' said N.C. A&T head coach Alonzo Lee. "Bethune has a very good offense, they move the ball well. We didn't give our offense enough opportunities with the ball, but they did some good things on the field."
Mayhew continues to do outstanding things on the field. His historic season continued on Thursday as he rushed for 211 yards on 31 carries. He is the first Aggie to rush for more than 200 yards in a game since Brandon Sweeney rushed for 205 yards on Oct. 8, 2005 against Morgan State at FedEx Field.
Mayhew's performance ranks as the eighth best rushing performance in school history. His 211-yard performance also put him over the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season. He joins James White, Milton Shaw, Maurice Smith, Maurice Hicks and Michael Ferguson as the only players in Aggies history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season.
The Aggies (1-8, 1-5) will try to regroup Saturday, Nov. 6 as they face Florida A&M at 1:30 p.m., from Aggie Stadium.

TRUE STORY,
because of the delay I got sleepy, so when half time came I decided to DVR the rest. I woke up this morning and thought I would watch the rest of the game(knowing we lost) while I ate breakfast, got dressed, etc....
Well, as soon as I hit play on my DVR the power to my neighborhood goes out and doesn't come back on until its time for me to go.
So the power goes out in the stadium not allowing me to finish watching and the power goes out in my neighborhood to prevent me from finish watching. I will delete it without watching when I get home. I'm scared if I finish watching it my phone will ring and someone will tell me I have 7 days to live and then the girl from THE RING will come out the TV and take my soul, LOL.
True Story. I swear!

Friday, October 29, 2010 (Updated 5:46 am) By Jeff Mills Staff WriterThe bus left early Tuesday morning for the long ride to Daytona Beach, Fla., where N.C. A&T would get its one shot at a nationally televised game this season. This wasn’t what the Aggies (1-8, 1-5 MEAC) had in mind. Not a 67-17 loss. And certainly not a game that started Thursday night and ended in the wee small hours of Friday morning. A&T’s primetime showcase game on ESPNU at undefeated Bethune-Cookman (8-0, 5-0) got off to a rough start. The host Wildcats scored on their first three possessions to take a 19-0 lead. Then the lights went out. With 3:37 left in the first quarter, lightning struck a transformer on nearby LPGA Boulevard, plunging the neighborhood into darkness and delaying the game 1 hour and 43 minutes. It was nearly 10 p.m. by the time B-C kicked an extra point to make it 20-0. When the game resumed, most of the seats in Municipal Stadium were empty. “It’s just a big night,” A&T wide receiver and Dudley graduate Torrian Warren said Monday. “Everybody wants to play on ESPN one day. Being able to show everybody in the whole entire world what you really can do, it’s really going to put the spotlight on A&T.” Maybe. Maybe not. How many fans were still in front of their TV sets when another Dudley graduate, Ricky Lewis, scored on a 2-yard quarterback-keeper run for A&T’s first points? How many were still tuned in to see A&T tailback Mike Mayhew – the MEAC’s leading rusher – run for 121 yards in the first half? Mayhew finished with 31 carries for 224 yards, pushing him to 1,055 rushing yards this season. How many were still awake for the end at 12:32 a.m.? It’s not what the Aggies had in mind back in August when they agreed to move the game – and disrupt their routine – to get on TV. “A short week is tough, but ... yeah, it is worth it,” A&T coach Alonzo Lee said Monday. “The exposure, for both teams, is important. Any time you get an opportunity to get your school some exposure on national TV it’s well worth it. There’s no doubt about that. It’s a short-term inconvenience, but well worth it because in the long run it helps your recruiting. It helps your program because people see what you have. We’ll get a lot of phone calls from it.” NOTES: Mayhew rushed for at least 100 yards in a game for the sixth time this season, one shy of Maurice Hicks’ single-season school record of seven set in 2000. … A&T played without All-MEAC cornerback Quay Long, who was suspended for the Howard and Bethune-Cookman games. “Quay is a great young gentleman,” Lee said, “But, boy, sometimes that mouth gets us in trouble.” Lee wouldn’t elaborate further. … A&T junior wide receiver Wallace Miles had four catches for 31 yards, giving him 100 career catches. Miles is just the sixth A&T receiver to reach the milestone. … Bethune-Cookman came in leading the MEAC in scoring offense (40.9 points per game) and scoring defense (12.9 ppg). The Wildcats lead the nation in turnover margin (plus-20). … Bethune-Cookman runners finished with 67 carries for 456 yards and eight rushing TDs. The Wildcats scored 10 touchdowns in all, but didn’t break 70 points because they missed a field goal and three extra-point kicks. Contact Jeff Mills at 373-7024 or jeff.mills@news-record.com

At least Mayhew should get that 7th 100+ yard performance next game against FAMU.
