I just wonder how the atmosphere will be inside the stadium once the game is going on and the liquor has gotten out the system. Both of these teams can be boring to watch and I could see a lot of punts, flags, and just running the ball up the middle. I am scared if the game is 3-3 at halftime that people will just starting heading back to the tailgate. Well the nice thing is that the weather will be outstanding!!

The atmosphere will be the same as it has been the last couple of years...LACKLUSTER! The stadium will be near capacity at the beginning of the game, fill up around halftime, and start to tapper off in the third quater. The score will determine how many people are left in the stands in the fourth. Then agian I'm not sure that the score will have an impact at all. The fact of the matter is people just aren't excited enough about Aggie Football right now to give up their precious tailgating time.I'm pretty sure most people come back for the fellowship not the football. Most of the people in the stands probably don't even know the difference between LEE Fobbs and Alonzo LEE. Its going to take some wins to get back to the old Homecoming days. I'm talking 93' here people!
And Thrilla...You need to talk to your peole and see what you can do about getting the vendors back down by the stadium. It just makes for a better atmosphere...

Wasn't it the 2001 Homecoming that we jammed 34,000 into Aggie Stadium vs. FAMU? Now that was one to remember!!

Aggieborn5,
I can still remember '93 like it was yesterday. Man we didn't even have room to sit down after coming off the field. People were sitting on the edge of the end zone. Doug, do you remember being a ball boy back in the day with TJ or Little T-bone? If so, I might have an old school picture probably from '94, I am thinking that Dr. Simmons took with you two in the photo with me in the end zone against Del State.

Aggies lose 10th straight game, 7th straight homecoming Sunday, October 10, 2010 (Updated 7:53 am) By KEITH TOLBERT Special to the News & RecordGREENSBORO -- For the seventh year in a row, the homecoming crowd at N.C. A&T went home unhappy. Morgan State spoiled the 2010 edition with a 27-14 victory over the Aggies. A&T (0-6, 0-3 MEAC) didn't score in the second half despite being in the red zone four times. The Aggies turned it over on downs twice, lost a fumble and missed a 30-yard field-goal attempt to lose their 10th in a row -- a slide that began at last year's homecoming. "We've got to be able to finish," coach Alonzo Lee said. "You look at the opportunities, and then we had turnovers and penalties. We had some open receivers that we just didn't hit. Shelton (Morgan) hasn't stepped up. We have to continue to get better at quarterback." The Aggies fumbled three times, losing two. Morgan was intercepted once. Eight penalties cost A&T 72 yards. Trailing by two touchdowns entering the third quarter, the Aggies' first chance came after cornerback Quay Long intercepted a pass deep in Morgan State (3-3, 2-1) territory. A&T drove to the 6, but a penalty, a 1-yard run and two incomplete passes brought up fourth down. Sullivan Shidler's 30-yard kick missed wide left. "We came out in the second half with more intensity," Long said. "Twenty-seven points is unacceptable in a game, much less in the first half. We've got to work harder to get better." After getting a break on a Morgan State punt that went just 4 yards, the Aggies once again couldn't move the ball and Morgan was sacked for a 7-yard loss on fourth down. Quarterback Ricky Lewis, a sophomore from Dudley and the 2008 News & Record high school player of the year, started the game and was relieved at different times by Morgan. Lewis was in on the Aggies first possession of the fourth quarter and had several good runs to once again get A&T in scoring position, but on a sweep left, Lewis lost the ball and Morgan State recovered. "Everything was much faster (than high school)," Lewis said. "I don't think I left everything out there because I had a couple of turnovers. The O-line played their hearts out and everybody played hard. We've just got to get our heads on tight (to get a win)." And in related news, the sky is blue and water is wet ... A coach doesn't make these comments to the press. Put him on the bench but don't drag him in public. Don't throw him under the bus. Step up Coach!

Step up Coach! He's been making statements like that for a year and a half. Lee's comments to the media have always been terrible.

Step up Coach! And this is why I dont understand the outcry when we "out" a coach on this board. We have the type of staff that calls players out when they F up, so they shouldn't have a problem with us doing the same when they F up. "Lee, you F'd up by hiring that sorry a$$ Berry. " See how easy that was, lol.

I just thought about it. He says that about Morgan, but doesn't call out his sorry OC. He should hold him to the same standard. If he doesn't get rid of Berry after this season then he's a hypocrite for that statement.
