Per previous discussions see below for Lady Aggie leader:
"Freshman Amber Calvin brought her team together during a media timeout to give them a fiery speech. The pep talk seemed to reignite the Aggies." ----- pulled from the article on our website.
That takes guts and heart for a freshman.- Started to say something else but she is a lady. No question she will lead next year and the task will come easier with all the experience form the 09-10 season. If Bullock plays next year our back court will be just as good and we know the post improves with the young lady from Oregon.

I don't think Bullock has any more eligibility left.
She was honored with the rest of the seniors prior to the NSU game.

maybe next year we won't have that bull's eye on our backs. looks like hampton might have to carry that burden next year. with the loss of tweet, i think we've got to get a little more speed in our back court next year. hopefully, at least one of the freshmen can provide that. berry will probably be our starting 2 guard next year. she can score with the best of them, but i'm not very impressed with her speed/quickness "unless" she whips herself into shape over the summer.
our entire team needs a strength and conditioning coach to layout a fitness plan for them to prescribe to. i'm certain that we could have taken it to another level this year had we been a more fit team. we need to shed some unwanted pounds and replace it with muscle. we need to become more lean to improve our overall team speed, quickness, and stamina...

I believe Berry's biggest weakness is her defense. However she is a natural scorer.

And stop all that talk about bull's eyes.
Championship programs should expect and want to have a bull's eye on their back every year. If you can't deal with that pressure then you are not a champion. Plain and simple.

I agree with both of you:
Forget about the bulls eye its there; but everbody wants to beat the man and everybody wants to beat the man or woman in this case
I think our conditioning improved signifigantly by the end of the season; you can perform at a high level and be overweight; however you will never perform to your potential carrying even 5 -10 extra pounds nor less 25 extra.
We truly need and off season progam. And some trainer or Coach to ensure the athlete is obtaining milestones and staying on track. I will give you a perfect example look at what University of Texas did for Dexter Pittman. He was pushing 4 bils large and they got him down to 335 or so.
Our backcourt scares me for next year; our backup point will be a freshman. And there is no "old reliable" Woody on the bench. And very few freshman can step in and perform at the "Calvin level". I know we have some great recruits coming in but the guard spot outside of Calvin scares me. Berry has got to drop 10 - 15 to perform as a top athlete. There are no advantages for her playing the 2 guard being 10 -15 over.
Ladys if you want an example look no furthur than your girl BTJ. Look at the increased production when she shed does 10 -15 extra pounds.

Berry needs to slim down, Murdaugh needs to slim down, Alex Mitchell needs to really slim down, and Sams needs to slim down.
This offseason will determine how serious our girls are about being champions.

Yea. The thing that worries me is that BTJ did it but I wonder was that her doing or was there a trainer / coach advising and pushing her ??
