having played nsu last night into overtime, hopefully morgan's legs will feel heavy tonight. i would think that our intensity level will be high tonight since we're coming off of a coppin win, plus morgan is the team to beat in the meac. man, it was extremely refreshing to see our guys hustling and diving after loose balls for a change! we've got to have even more intensity tonight.
and our ladies had better not take morgan's ladies lightly either. the lady bears have only loss 1 conference game and are all alone in 2nd place behind us. they have a signature win over big east member, seton hall, and i'm sure they would like nothing better than to be the first meac team to defeat the lady aggies and take over 1st place (as a result of the tie breaker). so the lady aggies have got to bring that "a" game tonight!
it really hurts that we're without jee sams. but if we beat the lady bears, we can open up a little breathing room in the standings. we only have a 1 game lead over morgan. a win tonight would give us a 2 game lead, plus the tie breaker over morgan. this will be a big game for the lady aggies...

I hate Jee Sams is out as well. I did catch a glimps of her at the game yesterday. And from what I can see she has slimmed down some. We certainally harped on it after the LSU game; so I wanted to make mention of it. Look forward to seeing you back on the floor Jee.
On another note this team steps up when a starter is out. Shots out to T. Thomas and Alford for stepping in and playing great ball yesterday.

frisco, i was just about to mention alford! she has really stepped up her game lately! and bibbs has rewarded her with a lot more playing time. that's what i especially luv about our ladies! our depth!
i swear we've got 10 players who can score double figures on any given night. and alford is one of them. with all the talented guards we have had this year and last year, alford gradually became the forgotten woman. but not any more! alford has always been a good player, but because we've been so rich with guard talent, she kinda faded out of the rotation. but all of a sudden, she has emerged again! its as if she said to herself, this is my senior year and i'm going out with a bang!
and speaking of seniors, i really like the job tweet is doing as a leader this year. even though she's our leading returning scorer, she's not forcing her shots, she lets the game come to her instead of the other way around. she's a team player! tweet could be averaging over 20 ppg if she wanted to, but she's more interested in winning than scoring. she's in the same league as amber bland and taylor-james, she's one of our all time best! and i absolutely luv one of her quotes in today's article about teammate amber calvin. "She’s like my sister. I love her so I’m harder on her than any of my other teammates because I want her to keep what we have here going.” that quote tells you she's thinking team first, not her stats. she wants the success of the program to continue after she leaves. what's there not to luv about that!
we aggie fans had better pinch ourselves 'cause it just doesn't get much better than this! i pray that coach bibbs retires coaching as an aggie and hopefully that won't happen for many more years to come. coach bibbs, please give us at least another decade... ;D

Oleschool, I agree about Tweet, letting the game come to her. You are right on it. I can see the opposition scrambling for Berry / Calvin, or concerned with our inside players, and then all of a sudden here is Tweet with a open '3! Its beautiful !
These are big games tonight.
