This is another outrage.
How come we still do not have a banner in Corbett to commemorate last year's historic season?
Actually, we should be able to look up and see banners for the 2009 NCAA tournament appearance, the 2009 MEAC tournament championship and the 2008-09 MEAC regular season championship.
I am sure the men's program would have already received similar banners if they had earned such accomplishments last year.
Man, it would have really been nice to officially unveil a new banner prior to the start of the Auburn game.

Thrilla, you know how you say you can't believe my attitude towards my alma mater?
Well it's things like this that take the luster away for me. Things like this is why I don't "love" it. Think about it. These ladies have sweat, bled, cried for, and celebrated this university and have accomplished major feats. They are historical. And what do they get in return? No promotion the next year and not so much as a slight recognition by way of a traditional banner.
It's embarassing, its disrespectful, and dare I say..............SUBSTANDARD!

Maybe they're saving it for the first home conference game, seriously.

I even asked one of the players if she knew when they were raising the banners and she didn't know either.

As much as it pains me, I can't disagree with anything ahhbigboy just said. It is substandard how the Lady Aggies have been treated since their historic season.
Westcoast, the women's coaching staff is not responsible for ordering their own championship banners. That is the responsibility of our athletic department leadership.
The women's coaching staff is wondering where the banners are, just like us fans are.
