I was told that WSSU's pep band and cheerleaders were not coming. After Getting Pelted With The Promotional Footballs The Last Time They were In Greensboro, I Don't Blame Their Cheerleaders For Not Wanting To Come Into The Dawg Pound...I Mean There's NO escape Route for them if thing were to get "Hostile"... ;D

Livewires were the most active section of the student body. Maybe some of the more active Maniacs should join them.

Livewire has always been rather small, but very vocal and active. I believe they are made up of SGA and Student Affairs.

Livewire has always been rather small, but very vocal and active. I believe they are made up of SGA and Student Affairs. I cant speak for the Maniacs, but The Aggie Livewires are generally smaller during basketball season (thats always been the trend). Also the effect of the Fobbs error played a significant role in recruitment. When the headliners of athletics are not doing all that well, its hard to get the typical student involved in supporting them. It also doesn't help to have two organizations that do almost the same thing drawing from the same pool of students... To correct sixtiesaggie, The Livewires are really made up of average A&T students that want to support athletics and have fun at sporting events. The livewires were created with the help of the SGA in 1995, but since then, have operated as an independent organization. In my opinion as a past president of The Livewires, I would say that we have a stronger bond with the Cheerleaders and the Band than that with SGA...
