Hey wait a minute...I just noticed that they beat up on the boys from Virginia Seminary!!! Now c'mon now. How many points do you get for beating up on a bunch of choir boys?? And not only that...but they were the first team to actually score on them. Can a representative for the 1927 team please step forward and explain??
(I am thoroughly convicned that Chris McNeil was unblockable. That dude was a beast and would most definitly have to make an All Aggie team if there ever was one....which gives me an idea for a new thread.)
He was unblockable but the NFL wanted him to play outside LB. He was only 230 lb's. Ends in the NFL are at least 260 and up. If he would have applied himself, I think he would have been a hell of a Outside LB but he should be on the all time aggie team. He still has the sack record!!!!
he could've played DE with some of the current teams in the mold of Leonard Little in a 4-3 or Peter Boulware, Terrell Suggs, Shawn Merriman in the 3-4. I think he could've been perfect if more teams played 3-4 when he came out.
