Every corner is going to get burnt at some point during a game. The key is not getting burnt all game long.
Good job Shaheed.

Shaheed played a good game. Some NSU fans commented on how well he covered the WR he was matched up against because they stated that the WR he covered all day had been their best WR.

From looking at the stats, its seems Sandman had another good game last week against Hampton.

He really did. He went one on one with Gilchrist (WR) all night. Gilchrist is the kid that ran back those punts. I don't remember Gilchrist catching a pass, and if he did it was a short one because Sandman was with him step for step on all the long bombs they tried to throw to Gilchrist. Sandman was a "peach among plums" on the defence.

So we got two fast guys? Somebody call the law! Gilchrist was also contain on the punt returns in the second half when he got his hands on the football a couple of times. Hampton didn't really give Gilchrist a lot touches offensively. I was surprise that he didn't get those touches. A&T's DBs were not going to give up the long ball but the short and mid range passes were there to be had. HU QB would throw his passes high and fast on those routes and the ball would go right through his receivers' hands.

Sandman didn't have one of his better games tonight against Central:

He had an opportunity to make a play on that ball. I think he was worried about the possibility of a penalty.

Way to set the tempo today with the pick six in the first quarter.
Sandman almost had another one later in the second half.
