The new chancellor will earn $315,000 per year along with a car and housing.

GREENSBORO — UNCG’s newly named Chancellor Linda P. Brady will earn about $13,000 more than her predecessor. The position remains the third highest-paid in the UNC system among chancellors, according to the UNC General Administration.
Brady will earn $315,000 per year, while retiring Chancellor Patricia Sullivan leaves at $301,952 annually.
The UNCG chancellor’s salary falls behind UNC-Chapel Hill’s newly elected Chancellor Holden Thorp — who will get $420,000 per year — and N.C. State’s James Oblinger — who makes $390,835.
N.C. A&T Chancellor Stanley Battle’s salary is $265,200.
Chancellors also are required to live in a university-provided residence and are given a car and a club membership for business use.
The UNC Board of Governors elected Brady to the position Thursday. Brady is leaving the University of Oregon where she has served as provost. Before that she served as a dean at N.C. State and spent seven years in Washington working in national security.
Brady is UNCG’s 10th chancellor and will take office Aug. 1.
UNCG is the fifth largest school in the state university system with 16,872 students enrolled in the fall 2006 semester, the most current data available online from the system office. State is the largest with 31,130 followed by UNC at 27,717, East Carolina University at 24,351 and UNC Charlotte at 21,519 students.

$265K seems like a pretty decent salary for a chancellor at a school of A&T's size.
I wonder what his university-provided crib looks like. Knowing us, they probably have him somewhere in Kings Forest.

I grew up in Woodmere Park and, back then, we always viewed Kings Forest as the black Beverly Hills.
