If not at Duke, I’d rather NCCU play the game at Durham County Stadium than on their campus. O’Kelly-Riddick is a tight and packed venue. With the crowd that will show up, too many Aggies and Eagles (and others) will be bumping up against each other. That worries the heck out of me.
County Stadium is a more controlled atmosphere since once you enter, you’re not allowed to go to the opposite field stands. There's better parking at County Stadium also. The downside is that County Stadium was a dump the last time I was there. Didn’t Shaw and the city of Durham do some renovations?

I think NCCU is also exploring an option to play the game on Sunday, August 31 at Wallace-Wade. I doubt if that'll happen because most schools don't like to see their field used in consecutive days like that, especially if it's wet. Aggie Stadium would make the most sense, but they would never ever entertain that thought. So it's O'Kelly-Riddick or Charlotte. My money is on Charlotte.

why doesn't nccu work out a deal with wheels & play the game again in g'boro... ... they would make more money here than anywhere else & we would get a cut also being the away team...!!!!... cut out the middle man... just a&t & nccu...!!!!!!!!!!!! pump up other promotions like homecoming etc... have promotions companies bid like these tv networks bid for the rights to televise ncaa march madness.... & make mo money.... ??
