I would immediately promote Moye over Larrymore. If Larrymore takes any snaps our season is over.

Neither one can throw worth a damn. Larrymore appears to be the better athlete of the two.

If they can throw 10 yards, that'll work IF McNeil is smart enough to use it effectively.

Don't know.
Looks like we're about to waste our receiver's talent this season unless the OC makes changes to the offense. Why not let Glenn throw short passes and hope our receivers can get a lot of RAC yards?
I wish Small had a talented QB in the recruiting class. Not sure why he didn't sign somebody to groom.

Probably couldn't. We haven't gotten a qb that worked out in a while.
Let the qbs run option. The receivers will be wide open for the ten or so pass plays we'd call and if they still drop them, that's on them.

There has to be someone on the team who has played some QB in high school. If Glenn goes down, we are looking very bad.

Moye was taking snaps with the second team yesterday. Larrymore is still the last man on the totem pole.

Man it is over. I have no confident in our offense.
I hate to sound negative. But Glen remind me of Jason B.

The thrid best quarterback on this team is probably our starting free safety in Kelvin Haywood.
He was all-conference and offensive player of the year in Fayetteville as the QB at Southview HS. Excellent option QB (1200 yds rushing, 14 tds) and a pretty decent passer (70 percent completion rate and over 700 yards, 8 tds) as senior three years ago.

I was thinking.
At any other school Glenn would be a safety or transfer by now. Case in point, JSU turned their superman qb into a wide receiver. Lord knows C.J. Leak done played half the positions available at Tennessee. Why must we let this dude continue to take snaps? SC State took the kid that was sharing snaps with Marvin Marshall and made him a safety.
Why we holding onto Marshall? Afraid he gone transfer to Central to be with his family? Shoot, they already got our playbook, who cares if he splits.
Put in the youngsters. If they can take a snap and make good decisions (and know their limitations) it will work out better in the end.

Haywood can play QB and probably play it extremely well if given a couple of weeks of practice and some games. He 's a smart kid and and a quick study. But Lee will never let him go back over to the offense at this point.
Too bad the Johnson kid from Detriot's MLK HS was redshirted this year because of his records coming in late. He would have been a God send as a replacement for Watkins. He's a cereberal player with D-1 talent. The University of Michigan doesn't recruit stiffs.
Personally if I were Small, I would groom him this off season and in the spring as a quarterback instead of a corner for next season.

...especially if he goes into another year not having recruited one that can pass ten yards.
but from what I read about the Detroit guy, he might not do us much better at qb than Larrymore. They were both kinda stuffed into the qb spot as seniors. On the other hand, so was Rankins...
