It’s happening with a return game, IIRC, in 2028.

Wait. Will this "potential" game in 2025 be in East Greensboro? IF so, that'll mean 8 home games: 4 home CAA contests along with Buzzards, SC State Puppies, Furman + TN State??? Or, did Furman back out of the home-and-home?

I’ve been asking for this since we left the MEAC

We have 2 OOC games plus 4 conference home already fbschedules.com/ncaa/north-carolina-at/

We were playing Tennessee State on the day of the Klan-Nazi Greensboro Massacre over in Morningside Homes in 1979. I was on my way to War Memorial Stadium when it seemed like 100 police cars passed me going in the opposite direction.
We had a great series going against the Big Blue Tigers back then in both football and basketball. I've been wanting us to get it back going again, too, AGGIEGRAD97.

I was in the band marching to the stadium with my head on a swivel. If we had not had a game I may have been at that rally. One of the victims (Sandra) was at our house the night before.

I wasn’t even close to being alive when they played regularly, they’ve played a couple times in the last decade in basketball though. I definitely was eager for it because I know their fans wanted another HBCU rival & both have plenty room for that. Our best football wise has been SCSU & even that has dwindled (largely bc of them).

Almost 15 years later, I took my kids to see us play TSU in Circle City Classic around 95-96. Had to be close to 40-50K fans at the game. Black Expo was going on and there was a downtown parade from East Indianapolis to the stadium. My son is now 40 yrs old and he still remembers that game.

Also a win there in ‘94 over Southern 22-21

I have been waiting to play the tigers. Spent part of my childhood in Tennessee and was in the band when we played them 97, 99, and 00. Labor Day weekend in Nashville should be good time. Hopefully, the football team will be rolling. The BGMM vs AOB matchup will be a guaranteed good band battle. Glad there is a return game.
Sidebar: I maintain that if we play certain HBCUs and develop a winning program we will hear less feedback from Aggies about not being in a HBCU conference.
