Hey fam, can somebody provide some clarity or insight on our home court situation? Most home matches have Dudley High School as the location. Are our own tennis facilities also now in such disarray that we have to resort to using local high school facilities??? Maybe I missed something, but can somebody shed some light on that for me?

Courts aren't bad but not in good enough shape for conference competition. I think somebody said fixes they did recently (2-4 yrs, I think) didn't work.

Aren’t bad Grass all over courts and cracks everywhere Good point. When they were initially assessed they weren't as bad as they are now.

Thanks for the info. This is ridiculous. Last I heard A&T was in a dispute with the contractor that botched the job two years ago.

Two things this current administration is horrible at: raising money and managing our facilities.

Aggie tennis has been playing at Dudley atleast before the pandemic.
The building attached to the the tennis courts on campus is now the home of the Aggie Pre K school.
The Team practices at A&T and Dudley

I love the interest in our non revenue generating sports. Are we fans, or supporters? If we love and support all the sports then hopefully that interest and energy will help carry some momentum into making these teams revenue generating. I can see volleyball generating revenue after a few seasons of success in the CAA. Tennis is doing some things too.

I can see volleyball generating revenue after a few seasons of success in the CAA. Tennis is doing some things too. I wouldn't bet on them generating revenue. According to an ESPN report from Dec 2023, out of 522 women's NCAA sports, only Nebraska's volleyball team was profitable in the 2022 fiscal year. The survey only included 53 schools from the so-called power 6 conferences (ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12, SEC).

I appreciate all of yall chiming in on this. I didn't realize some of this info. Tennis is another one of my favorite sports and one that I follow closely. I am baffled as to how we have male and female teams with an all international line-up minus one single US national. With our facilities, I'm intrigued as to how we're pulling off recruiting them to play for us.
