Great question. I read that returns went up, but I would like to know did the frequency of large returns go up. My feeling is that it may have gone down because the defense is balanced and you can't setup offensive wedges and etc to open gaps. The overall average yards of the returner should go up since the defense can't start up the field until the returner touches the ball. If the number of big plays dropped, his value will drop in my opinion.

I don't think it will have any effect on Taymon's draft stock because I never expected him to get drafted anyway. At best, he may get a free agent tryout as a project with some team.

No, the project part would be seeing if they can develop him as a receiver. Teams only have 53 roster spots and don't like to use them for someone who can only play ST. Taymon's best skill is his speed and 2nd is his KR instincts. However, his WR skills are not good at all. If you watch his film, he lacks skills in so many important WR areas, such as: route-running, understanding/use of leverage, zone coverage recognition (doesn't uncover himself), getting out of his break, and his hands are, at best, average. As an Aggie, of course I wish him the best and hope he makes a team and can develop into an NFL player, but that's simply not where he is at this point.
