Maybe Chris Young will pursue the St. Aug job... I would endorse him if it meant getting him out of Aggieland. 🤣 And that job is a pay cut.

I would not take the St. Aug, Clark-Atlanta, or Morehouse jobs. St. Aug had players practicing on concrete because they couldn't secure a practice field. The coach said they had no athletic trainer and they had unpaid bills for equipment. Morehouse has no recruitment budget and no strength and conditioning program. Clark-Atlanta hasn't invested in the program in years. Some of these schools really need to think about cutting football from their athletic department.

I have on good authority that Berry isn't interested in the job at SC State We need him as OC! Lol. He ain't leaving for anything other than an FCS OC job or a head coaching gig. If Mohouse paid him and promised him what he wanted it would be a win-win. He could go back home and he'd turn them into a powerhouse in short order. Maybe Chris Young will pursue the St. Aug job... I would endorse him if it meant getting him out of Aggieland. lololol I'd endorse the brother for ANY job. Hell, Florida, Texas A&M, Las Vegas Raiders... It's not a good idea to make the boss look bad. At this rate, Morehouse just needs to host a flag football game during SpelHouse and drop tackle football as a sponsored sport. They are acting like they do not care about the sport with the way they won’t fund it. And it’s not like they’re a public institution. They can do things with their cash that public schools can’t. They actually did pretty well when Craig Cason was their coach. Might be a bit before your time. Early 90s I think. He was a Howard grad who they hired from a position coaching the o-line at Princeton and he got them to competitive. He left for, get this, the tight ends job at Georgia Tech because it paid more. The tight ends job at Georgia Tech paid more than the head job at Morehouse! That's how you know they ain't serious. But if they ever got serious they could do damage in the d-2 game.

Add Morehouse to the list. They fired their coach in his 1st season after he complained about the administration. So wait…. Morehouse fired an alumnus, and his offensive and defensive coordinators?!? Who the hell supposed to coach the rest of the year? Man that’s crazy. The man left a job as defensive coordinator at Rice for Morehouse. Probably took a dramatic pay cut. Shame.

Ahhhhhhh. Didn't realize we were so far along in the season. Thanks. Morehouse’s leadership is still goofy for doing this. At least give the guy a full recruiting cycle, or 2 before pulling the plug. Especially since he hasn’t gotten any resources for a S&C Coach and 36 scholarship equivalents. At this rate, all they’ll have is Ed Reed to hire because no one else will want the job.

Usually I'll say anybody will take an open job if they're looking for an opportunity. But this looks pretty bad.
I mean, somebody will grab it. But this man was an alumnus and it's pretty clear they promised him a few things to leave his cushy job in Houston. It's also pretty clear he didn't get them. How do you convince anybody worth having to come in behind that? You've already shown you'll lie.

Hell, based on your comments, they have already decided to cut football... they just haven't told the alumni and fans yet. shutting down any high visibility program (athletic or academic) is a tough pill to swallow but I agree with you, some of us need to just get a big glass of water and chug it down.

SpelHouse Homecoming is the only reason why that won’t happen.
