Welp...
Our Aggies are 1-5 getting ready to face the Richmond Spiders. I'm sure many here remember what happened Thanksgiving Weekend 2016.
However, Richmond lost to 2 HBCUs already.
Can we make it 0-3 against HBCU competition?
At this point, we all know the strengths and weaknesses of our team. Can we pull off the upset this week?
What say 'Ye?

When they lost to those other HBCUs…they didn’t have their QB situation squared away… They do now…so it’s going to be a tough game at home… Richmond are 6 point favorites coming into this game… We have to get a passing game…

This game will feature 2 Freshman QBs who started playing around the same time but they do it in a different way. White like to use his legs with 3 Rushing TD for A&T while Camden Coleman who came on midway through the season like to throw the ball. Coleman had 6 TD against Maine this year. One other thing about Coleman he from Clemmons NC(Glenn HS) so he probably bring a lot of his kin folks to the game and try to show out.
I still like A&T in a close game

All I'm looking for us to do is play a cleaner game on both sides of the ball, the rest will take care of itself. Protect the football, QB to hit the open receiver, receivers catching the ball, defense wrapping up on all tackles (too many missed tackles so far).

We're close but we've got to play a perfect game for us to win... and we haven't been able to do that so far. Maybe this is the week that we finally get a CAA conference win.

I went to the Delaware game, our football team made some great plays on both sides of the ball. I think this is the game they put it together, our QB is starting to get in sync with some of the WR's. Even when the defense was forced to go back out on the field after a few 3 and outs, they still got Delaware off the field.

I agree. I believe that we are trending up. I wonder what type of crowd will show up. WSSU has a homecoming and I’m getting pulled over after our game.

I never thought I'd hear someone from a PWI nervous about playing another HBCU. Sure wish we were able to beat Richmond, but our problems are deep on both sides of the ball. Oh well, hope for the best but expect the worst.

I doubt if there has EVER been a football game where everything was done perfectly by any team. That said, we definitely can't do what we did last week...fumbles in the Red Zone, getting punts blocked, dumb penalties (ball spike at midfield, even on our own field).

Richmond has improved a lot since those earlier losses. If they're able to contain our running game with their defensive front it will be a long day for us. A balanced attack seems to work best against them. Predictable play calling could be the enemy. If we take advantage of what their defense gives us we'll be in the hunt for an upset. This is a game where we need at least 200 yards rushing and 150 yards passing. Has our passing game improved that much in a week?
