The same folks said I was being too negative before the season because I pointed out that we had major issues on the defensive line. SMH. Funny how the tables have turned. What virtually ALL of us didn't expect was that our passing offense would be this anemic. It makes a big difference.

"Its a great day in Aggieland", man if anyone saw my face at the time they would have been like "he must watching something sickening right now", LOL. Looks like you didn't hear everything he said.

coach did it again. "disarmed" folk by first acknowledging dr. martin's retirement before addressing aggie football's loss to elon, akin to recognizing 9/11 victims with a moment of silence the week prior before addressing aggie football's loss to the buzzards.
man, he must really be feeling some pressure...

Coach is a Pro. I’m trusting the process.

Now why would you say that? I was referring to his opening statement. Which honestly starts to get kind of corny when you open with it EVERY time. But he SAID all the right things. Lets see if the improvement happens.

Expect what he's saying is though we lost our 3rd game in a row and to our closet conference rival, it's a great day in AggieLand. You know, the glass half full mentality. And I like it.

He just thinks it's cool to say. Like he coined the phrase or something. Roy over thinking it. LOL.

It's just branding like "Be Elite" or "We do chicken" or "No excuses, No regrets".
I am more bothered by the product on the field than what Coach Brown tries to promote as a new catchphrase.

he mentioned that the team does well relative to penalties and turnovers, stating that we ranked near the top of the conference in those categories which very well may be true, i haven't checked. i know a lot of aggies (myself included) were upset with coach wash for the lack of discipline shown on the football field. but i ain't gone lie, i rather live with unwanted penalties than not, if it means winning games.
minimum penalties and turnovers are great! except when you haven't won any games and none of your losses were "close"...

......but the penalties we were getting from Washington were CAUSING US TO LOSE. When you're better than lousy teams (ie. Robert Morris), you can overcome penalty-ridden games. However, when you commit those same penalties vs a Garnder-Webb or other solid FCS teams........YOU LOSE!!

That was the major difference between Broadway and Washington. Broadway took his lumps early, but he did not play about making bonehead penalties whatsoever. Once he got the players in the program he needed he had already built the foundation for discipline. I hope the same will be for Brown, but only time will tell.

And it's almost ALWAYS a great day in AggieLand, notwithstanding how our athletics are doing. We're educating primarily African American kids (some 1st to go to college in their families)!
