I'm beginning to like Coach Brown more. His optimism and patience are good. For example, earlier in the season he talked about improvements in the offense and we have seen that in the last two games, particularly the way Brinkhandler came in after White went down and the offense was as effective, if not more, than with White under center. Now, it's the defense that I think he needs to focus on because it didn't stop Hampton nor Towson. IMO, when an offense scores 25-30 points in a game we should win the game. Now let's go on to Rhode Island and win that game with both excellent defense & excellent offense... Can we get relatively healthy defensively?? What is Turner's status this week??

Coaching is a fraternity. What do you expect other coaches to say? It's coach talk. its "absolutely" coach talk...

He was non-committal today when I asked if he wanted to bring back his entire coaching staff next year.

He was non-committal today when I asked if he wanted to bring back his entire coaching staff next year. Yep. I picked up on that right away. He kept it real today. And he changed his opening line just a tiny bit! Lol "It is a BEAUTIFUL day in Aggieland!"

It's been a "beautiful day" the last 2 weeks. I guess his PR person(maybe the wife) said that was a better way to say it vs "a great day"..

I'm so bored I'll put a house cleaning thing for the press conference.
- Raise the A&T backdrop higher please. It doesn't need to be below waist level. We dont have a sit-down press conference. Zoom the camera a little more and boom....perfect video of the press conference. It look so bootleg to see the actually backdrop edges. Or simply just zoom in a little more. The way they have the video setup they might as well just put an Aggie dog on the wall and remove the backdrop, SMH
I know, we talking about a press conference.

The Big Aggie Dog would be cool 😎 and cover all bases.

He was non-committal today when I asked if he wanted to bring back his entire coaching staff next year. He sees what most of us on here sees far better than we could imagine. The question is whether or not he has the confidence and grit to pull the trigger on staff changes.

I detected a little bit of heat in his response to questions about his staff. Highlight of the press conference for me is his explanation of the fake punt and choosing not to play "ping pong" with the other team. I'm sold on coach for at least another season.

I believe the reality is that if he's truly gonna evaluate "everything" that means everything under his perview (players, coaches, operations, equipment, etc.).
As a first time HC, I expect he's learned a lot about being the man.
We'll see what happens.

I wonder if he formally announces any changes if/when they happen ... or will he just let Brian update the staff page on the website in August like we usually do.
