That's gotta mean that we can sign a pair of 300lbs + DTs, right?

I totally understand. I am really worried about the weight room, academics, and nutrition for the players. Those are the complaints that I have heard from people. We would be a lot better if we can improve these areas.

We would be a lot better if we can improve these areas. Complaints or actual issues? The weight room was just upgraded in 2021. Are we recruiting borderline college students and expecting miracles?

Are we recruiting borderline college students and expecting miracles? What would suggest that the academic caliber of our recent recruits has been subpar? Why would that even be your thought process considering all the guys we know of who were graduate students?

Just because a couple guys and galls get graduate degrees it doesn't mean we arent recrutiting borderline students. The academic support issue that was brought up effects more than just football

The academic support issue that was brought up effects more than just football Most students are not college ready and on average most have to take some type of remedial extended learning courses or course an make adjustments to classroom and college life in general . Part of the mission statement for HBCU's is to take those students and mold them into productive students and hopefully citizens athletes included .

Most students are not college ready and on average most have to take some type of remedial extended learning courses or course an make adjustments to classroom and college life in general . Hold on, What? Is that the reality now? Most kids who come to A&T are taking remedial courses?

I doubt that's possible. A&T is very difficult to gain admittance to nowadays.

Let me rephrase this before it gets blown out of proportion . Borderline or not most are not ready for the rigors academically socially and the independent focus that is needed for college life . Also some students do have to take remedial courses in specific subjects. Hell even Harvard offers remedial classes for some of their students that are in need as do most other institutions . It's not a slight to the institutions it's just a process that no one wants to talk about 😆 . Also it is part of HBCU history to give and provide not only the smartest & brightest a quality education which also includes the So Called " BORDERLINE" students .

If you aren’t top notch coming from out of state, be prepared to be on the waiting list.
One of the reasons as to when excuses come up to why we can’t compete with PWIs, I just shake my head.
This ain’t your A&T…
