Probably due more to the thunderstorms forecast. Y'all know how your people are...especially the women. You have a point, but this is a game that we should not be trying to close out sales on gameday. Having been in the sports ticketing business since I finished 'Tee in '81, IMO, this is certainly one game that should be sold out by Monday or Tuesday of Game Week every single time that the game is played on either campus. We're only talking about around 21,500 seats on our campus.
With Winston-Salem State coming up next season, I'll be flabbergasted if we have tickets to sell on Game Week. Ticket cost probably kept some chickens away

Disappointed, but not surprised. Ticket cost , weather and our poor showing against UAB kept folks away. WSSU will be a sellout. 1st game , rival, and it's gonna be 90 degrees

When was the last time we sold out nccu game? I don't recall that ever happening? I don’t, either. When was the first time that it was played in Aggie Stadium? It's sold out once. 2017. On record other than GHOE we gave had 2 sellouts since 99 2010 WSSU and 2017 NCCU

We have had close to sellouts but that's it. Like FAMU 1999 , some of those SCSU games and anytime we host NCCU. Our base comes out for our rivals and when a good band is in town. Have to just accept who we are. Only way to get more bodies is to lower ticket prices and even then I think the faithful fans will just buy up the cheap ones

I wonder why are we so slow releasing Official Attendance Figures nowadays?? I don't think that the Aggie-Eagle Classic attendance figure was released until the Wednesday after the game, and yesterday's Richmond game figure has yet to be released.
Historically, the attendance figure would be announced over the P.A. system during the break between the 3rd and 4th quarters.

I mean, attempting to hide the numbers from the sponsors by not publishing them (when they can use other avenues to get the numbers anyway) could backfire on the administration and create some PR backlash within the business community. We need to be 100% above-board in all dealings with them, IMHO.

Our numbers are lower than I would have guessed. Are we sure those figures are accurate?
The box score for yesterday still has our attendance at 0.
