The biggest takeaway I finally heard out of Washington's mouth was him stating he is going with the players that are producing. I think he's come to grips with doing away with loyalty to players based on classification. I think we will see a few changes on offense and defense based on production, which is the right thing to do. I'm done with the excuses, just put the right players in who are producing in practice and in the games and coach them up!

He clearly said Brick was starting. I don't know how its any other interpretation of what he said. He also said "South Carolina state has 2 young quarners", LOL.

What you don't understand washington likes to play games with his words. He said today he will be the starter. Tomorrow is a different day in his mind. I am not saying he want start but I will not be surprise if Yeager be the starter.

If our receivers would catch the damn ball you would have to put Fowler in that production category. Truthfully outside of the RB's and LB's and a few of the D-Line men the rest are just borderline producers on game day . So let's see how the HC and staff handles this situation, the way good coaches do and stop Gaslighting with excuses at his press conferences.

They have been dead on the money thus far.

What did he say about the receivers dropping passes?
Based on the 3 games played each qb has had their moments. Two of them had a few negative moments. Based on those observations I would start Eli.
Hopefully Brick is not a 1 game wonder with beginners luck. Time will tell.

Hey, if we don't catch the passes it won't matter who the qb is.

There can be multiple reasons why receivers drop passes. It's the QB's job to move the chains and understand how to do that. The QB has to know his receivers well enough to know what they do well and what they don't. Have you ever seen a QB seemingly have a favorite receiver even when others are just as open? He trusts that receiver to make the catch and he knows how to throw it so that he can catch it. For example, some receivers can not make an over the shoulder catch on a certain side or the speed or height of the ball may make a difference. If you are running RPO the quarterback has to make the right decision and be able to deliver. A QB making bad decisions can make the whole offense stall or make it look unstoppable. One QB may throw the underneath route and another QB may try to go deep with the same play called. One QB may throw a bullet, another QB will put some arc on the pass. My point is these differences can be the difference between a sustained drive and a three and out with the same plays called and the same personnel on the field (other than the QB).

Well if I had a million dollars in cash and was marooned alone on an island with no way off of it, all that money is no good.
My point is if the the qb(s) has one million receivers and none can catch the ball no matter where they throw it, then you are I might as well be the qb.
