What a pleasant surprise. Will we use him though? If Coach Washington's last presser and this recruiting class are tea leaves, Coach Barnette will have a laser focus on getting his QBs to utilize the talent we'll have on the outside much better than they did in 2021.

aggiegrad97 - sounds like rich people problems. The commitments thus far is evidence that our staff KNOW our needs and they've delivered. It's now time to develop that talent and get back to what we do. And that's dominating while being humble and hungry.

What a pleasant surprise. wow! i watched his video and saw a very "unique" passing route near the 1 minute mark. dude came off of the line of scrimmage and fell to the ground as if he got tripped up. then he rapidly got off the ground to run a route to the opposite side of the field and was "wide open" cuz the defense figured he was out of the play. i've never seen a play like that, very "creative" route. but you probably can't use it very much once its on film and opponents catch on...

Clearly in 2022 we plan to stop people.
Now if we can just address the OL.

Clearly in 2022 we plan to stop people. Now if we can just address the OL. We'll see how much these freshmen play. That's why I hoped we would get a couple FBS transfer DTs (6'3" 290 & above) that would play immediately. We'll see what happens.

I clearly understand the need to bolster the defense, but we couldn't score points after halftime either. We need to recruit someone to fix that, too (coach or player).
Will we get a game changer on offense out of this class?

We're not done yet but we've pretty much cleared out on all the HS kids for today.

we needed more "speed" on both sides of the ball, especially offense and kick returns...

We're not done yet but we've pretty much cleared out on all the HS kids for today. I think the staff is going to turn their focus to the portal for any remaining signings. I know we still have a portal need at DT and RB. But overall, I am very happy with this class, especially how we technically rebuilt our secondary. The secondary quickly went from a decades-long hole/weakness to possibly a strength depending on how the spring goes. They still need to learn the plays, gel, and McNeil needs to be 100 percent but we're way better than what we were against Gardner-Webb in that regard.
