Hold on now. He specifically said that the best man will play, regardless of classification.

Martin was nowhere near the problem on Saturday, (16 for 97 with a TD). He ran for more yards against Monmouth than any other opponent they've faced this year. For the record...I didn't start this thread to bash Martin (or any of our players for that matter). He actually had a good game on Saturday. I started the thread to publicly tip my hat to Tuten and Baker and to make the hollow message board argument that they have been some of our best and most explosive playmakers this year and to note the fact that it is a shame that we aren't finding more ways to consistently utilize their talents during the game.

It almost seems like we are playing too many guys right now.
Every dead ball there are six or seven new people running on the field for us. Not sure how you can develop a rhythm when you are shuffling the deck that often during a game.

I don't think I've ever seen offensive linemen get switched out the way we do, other than in goal line situations. As a former o-lineman, there's definitely a rhythm and confidence that you get when you're dominating a guy on multiple plays in a row.

Lagrone and Sharpe definitely take turns at RG, was curious if that in anyway tips our offensive play call.

I understand he's in the concussion protocol. Missed Hampton & Monmouth. Jermaine McDaniel too.

lol did coach wash just say "We're going with who got us here"? Going with who got you to 3 - 5 🤷🏾♂️ He also said they thought about younger/other players. I expect they know/believe those players aren't better. More important for me is to win these last 3 games and figure out where to go from there.

At the same time what better way to evaluate talent/heart of your current roster than to see how they respond to live game action. Those young guys still have years remaining to play for (ie. BS championships, playoffs). With just 3 games remaining its possible some of the older guys, who are used to winning rings and playing in December, may check out (human nature). Young guys are looking to prove themselves and have some live game film for the spring. At this point allow senior ceremonial starts, but as game progresses, let the youth movement begin, at this point we're not playing for 2021 but instead for 2022 and beyond. And I wouldn't worry so much about the RS on Yeager, 3 solid remaining years are great to have, we should be recruiting anyway for next great Aggie QB, that's the nature of the beast.

Your right we are not utilizing their talent because they are not on the field at the same time. I would put all three of them in as a unit . It is easier to game plan for teams that platoon there are running backs but with all 3 in the back field you can't game plan for that that's RPO Heaven for both Ifedi and Fowler. And don't give me that change of pace crap either because you don't have to rotate a player in if he is already on the field that way you can go up Tempo.

VA he can play in the last 3 game and will still have his RS . Because I don't think that he has played in a game yet . There is a 4 game window.

Would love to see Baker lined up in the slot. We have so many weapons man.
