Particularly if it is James Madison. Most with donations from alumni as noticed by the facility names. Check this out. Coming out of HIGH SCHOOL and you tour that vs this...Which one you choosing? lol View AttachmentGonna be nice handing them that L when we play them there!

I agree those are FBS facilities...EASY! I will maintain my pitch, that doesn't always mean better. But, it would be hard to convince a 18 year old kid that his eyes are deceiving him.

Todays athletes are more culturally sensitive as well. The facilities are nice, but if they look and don't see to many who look like them, they are going to skeptic of the dog and pony show. I'm happy to see all of these young black athletes becoming more socially and culturally conscientious to their development as citizens.

This capital campaign does more for the band in my opinion than building a solid foundation for athletics overall. I didn’t see anything in the brief about expanding the field house or updating the locker room. It falls way short in taking us to FBS level of facilities. We need a larger weight room and new locker rooms along with money for a really nice lounge and nutrition area.

How do they justify that? lol View AttachmentThe Intercollegiate Athletics fee looks to be separate and distinct from their Student Activity Fee ($816). They have essentially added a separate fee for athletics only that is not regulated by anyone other than the university and is included in the bill for students. Wow!

Forgive my ignorance, but is JMU a public or private school. Find it hard to believe they could get away with that as a public institution.
