Plans should be in place right now to buy seats for the BGMM if necessary to make sure we have an "Aggie Takeover" in Fargo. 2020 Budget line item should just read "Aggie Takeover" in meetings and should cover all costs needed to bring BGMM, cheerleaders, the Aggie dog couple, the livewires (recruiting should be intense right now). National aggie clubs should be planning trips now and locking in blocks of hotel rooms in the Fargo region. Most airlines allow you to book and usually get best deals about 6 months out.
We took care of our part by winning our 4th of the last 5 HBCU national titles in December and they did theirs by securing the 8th of last 9 national titles a couple days ago. Now it's time for like someone said on twitter and I'm going to steal, "We need to unify the belts".
Some may disagree with my feeling of putting so much on this one game and that's fine, but you have to understand the gravity of this situation. We probably shouldn't put this type pressure on our student athletes, but I believe for that one 4-hour window in early September 2020, all HBCUs should be given temporary membership into Aggie nation. We have a chance to set a world record for largest collective "AGGIE PRIDE" after the final whistle. A&T will be carrying the banner of the 107 HBCUs across the nation and will be trying to win more than just a football game.
When we win "the game" it means the Aggies would have gone into 2 perennial FCS powers (JSU and NDSU) houses and brought back W's. Also not to mention road victories and 3 FBS opponents, all this in a four year span.
All that being typed I would assume and believe the coaching is preparing for Liberty right now and will prepare for NDSU as just the next game on the schedule, lol.
I'll try and post as soon as I see single game tickets on sale from NDSU.

All this hype reminds me of the first time we had a legitimate shot at beating App State, back in Alan Hooker's day. Us diehard fans went back and forth all summer on our chance of beating them and what talent we had and didn't have to win. It was some nervous times back then.
I'm sure our coaching staff is eyeballing that game on the calendar and doing everything everyday to get ready for it. I just don't know if our coaches will have enough time to get everyone ready for the biggest game of our program history. But just to have this shot says a lot about our football program and our University. The clock is running.

We really need all hands on board for such a big game like this. Martin should demand the band to be there. My issue with this team. Whenever we play a pocket QB that can pick up apart. We don't fair well. I am not sure our front four will be able to put enough pressure to rattle him.

I have said since the beginning of the 2019 season there is only 1 game I care about and that is the game. We can go 1-10 in 2020 as long as we win the game. And we need to approach the game as an all hands on deck atmosphere. Full AGGIE PRIDE should be on display for that entire weekend. AND YES WE ARE GOING TO WIN THIS GAME. I'm not entertaining any thoughts and comments other than just that. Its out there, I said it and stand behind it 100%. So...you would rather go 1-10, but it’s ok if you beat NDSU? Yikes...

Someone should tell Dr.Ruff how much recruiting gets done on national television. No excuses for the band not to be at this game. You can recruit anytime. And why wouldn't you do something like that during a home game. Let's say I don't know...band day? The band already missed the two biggest games of our program ECU and jax state, (regular season) it would be nice to have them for this victory.

Travelling to North Dakota is a lot to ask of a band. We, as Aggies, need to step up and fund that trip if we are serious about having them there. I can understand being frustrated when the band isn't making a trip to in-state places like ECU.....
The trip from Greensboro to Fargo is 1380 miles. If we're serious about this, the band needs our financial backing to have round-trip plane tickets. ---------- As far as the football is concerned, I'm glad NDSU won the FCS title again. They've won 38 straight. They haven't lost at home since 2016. When we go up there and beat them, I don't wanna hear no excuses from anybody. We can beat those dudes. We got all year to prepare. Ain't no way I'm not breaking down a little footage every week as a coach to see what NDSU can/cannot do. This is a big game and we need to treat it as that....

Tad bit of sarcasm, just want to express how important this game is on so many levels. I too would like to attend the Aggie Invitational in 2020 and go 5-6.

This is how wild rumors get start...somebody makes a sarcastic joke, somebody else takes it serious and it spreads all over social media. Despite being underfunded, understaffed and lacking adequate scholarship, the BGMM manages to be one of the top marching bands in the nation every year. But all of the band experts and ratings must be wrong because the band doesn't play the songs we like or show up at all the events we think important.
