The bad news:
I inadvertently selected the FloHoops annual option instead of the monthly option during the 2019 MEAC Tourney. So that was a sunk cost of $150 for 2019. Can't say that I don't support the MEAC.
The good news:
That subscription runs through March 13, 2020, the date of the 2020 MEAC Semifinals. No sunk cost for 2020. And I downloaded what looks to be a competent FloSports app from the Google Play Store.
All that typed... this is still not a great revenue deal at for MEAC schools. And it's one of the reasons that we leak out info that we're "exploring" moves.
Do better quick, Dr. Thomas.

This is one of the main reasons that Hampton left the conference... They have no vision with streaming their content the right way

I would assume these would be non football sports as ESPN 3, ESPN U and ESPN+ allowed me to see every football game this year. I guess this would help with dead spots like games at SC State not streamed via ESPN platform since State does not stream.
For starters FLO Sports is tricky to sign up for the language makes it difficult to determine if you buying a monthly or yearly and I dont think they offered per game purchases. The set up and administration of how to sign up for FLO Sports limits the ability to grow streaming platform cause the sign up is so bootleg and leads to folks being ticked off when they realize they have a reoccurring monthly charge or they ponying up for $150 on the spot
