He's a 5th-year senior. So he would need the hardship for a 6th-year.
I wish him well.

Why would we do that? He would have to sit out a year and he is an avg to below avg passer.

Call me crazy, but I actually like quarterbacks who can throw the football.
Thanks, but no thanks.

After Last season Soutern Miss got linebacker Whittington 6-5 235. He led them in sacks this season. But they have a jr Qb who passed fo r 3,329 yds so doubt it would be them. BCU more so than FAMU. Johnson completed 62.1% (197/317) for 2207 yds and rushed for 1,080 (7.5 per carry ) . If he can get the 6th season, I would not like to see him at BCU

The question we have to ask ourselves is are we looking for transfer talent that is FCS good or lower FBS good. I’m not going to bring in a FCS good QB when I already have that on my roster.
Caylin Newton is a better QB than Johnson and is the only person you guys have named that what be an upgrade to what we have. I’m not going to risk losing the team over bringing in a QB of Johnson’s caliber🤷🏾♂️
