A&T basketball coach Jay Joyner suspended indefinitely Staff Report
GREENSBORO — The N.C. A&T men's basketball team will embark on a trip to Big Ten country on Saturday without head coach Jay Joyner. The university announced today that Joyner has been suspended indefinitely by director of athletics Earl M. Hilton III. Associate head coach Willie Jones will serve as acting head coach in Joyner’s absence and will be in charge when the Aggies face Illinois at 2 p.m. Sunday. Hilton will have no further comment on the suspension "until the personnel matter is resolved," the school said in the news release, which did not specify a reason for Joyner's suspension. Joyner could not be reached for comment. When do you think A&T will finally have a detailed announcement about Joyner's status?

Dammit, you are the luckiest mofo on the planet.
Yeah, I will keep my word; I got you at the next BDF kickback ... but only because I love seeing us win. Dont try to act like you saw this turnaround coming when the news first hit, you jive turkey.

You have confidence in every coach that has ever been employed by A&T.
Even a broken clock is right at least two times a day ...

I think Durham did say this team played better when playing uptempo down in Jamaica. I didn’t believe him! Uptempo has to be coached too in terms of running the lanes and swing the ball on the secondary break. They release folks for snow birds and the other thing is they play solid defense. Jones must be likable and a motivator and perhaps a good listener.

If you go back and look at these players Highschool and AAU tape's you would see that they all came from a up tempo Style of play programs . Hale even Big Harry played up tempo in highschool I even saw him lead a break on one tape it was no wonder that they looked so out sync at the beginning of the season I don't know what Joyner was thinking but he is history and the future looks brighter so far . There muscle memory will kick in since they are not Shackled anymore and there conditioning will improve also by tournament time .

I got Durham on speed dial anytime I screw up a project at work or my wife gets mad at me. He responds back in 10 minutes or less with detailed talking points and reasons why it was not really my fault.
Dude can get you out of a jam better than Kerry Washington.

Joyner wasn't thinking he was being a dicktator rather than a motivator. Let's hope the team chemistry continues to develop and a return to glory
