You can keep saying we got our azzes beat...and then we’ll keep saying we beat your azzes. It won’t change anything hey, enjoy your "fake" championship! next time perhaps you'll play by the rules. meanwhile, we're on our way to the "atl" for the 3rd straight year while ya'll sit home and "pretend"! man, it really must feel bad that ya'll screwed "yourselves" out of an "official" championship, i know that "sucks" but guess what? you brought it on "yourselves". talk about shooting yourselves in the foot... Do you want me to feel bad?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Well FAMU did make sure to C.Y.A by saying "conference champs". They never mentioned "MEAC" anywhere on the post. For all intents and purposes it could be for "champion bag fumblers". Which they remain the 1 seed Touche Rattlers. What bag did we fumble exactly? We weren’t going to the Celebration Bowl and we wanted to finish with the best record in the MEAC...which we did. Losing to BCU sucks...but we said we’d be the best team in the MEAC and we were. We finished 9-2 and 7-1 in the MEAC. Season was success, folk. And we return a pretty loaded team next season. This was just a sampler of what we’ll do next season.

Lest not we forget that FAMU definitely felt that had a right to BCF or HBCU national championship prior to the FC.
Enter bag fumbling.
No more national championship consideration. Because best believe had FAMU not fumbled the bag, that IG post would have definitely read "HBCU/BCF National Champions".
But I guess that's not a goal for the Rattlers, only a MEAC championship is what FAMU strives for, cool.
Well that's NOT what AGGIES DO.

I have a daughter that graduated from FAM and a son from A&T....we have quite lively discussions but we learned that people see things only from their ingrained point of view....we did agree that both teams played well and with a win over BCU, FAM should have been BCF champs, but now CB is definitely in play for BCF champs....just saying!

2019 Football Standings
Print Choose A Season: 2019 Football Standings SCHOOL OVERALL CONFERENCE South Carolina State ^ 8-3 6-2 North Carolina A&T State ^ 8-3 6-2 Bethune-Cookman 7-4 5-3 Norfolk State 5-7 4-4 North Carolina Central 4-8 3-5 Morgan State 3-9 2-6 Howard 2-10 2-6 Delaware State 2-10 1-7 Florida A&M ** 9-2 7-1 ^2019 MEAC Football Co-Champions **Ineligible for league championship and postseason play.
Official MEAC standings. See those asterisks. They mean FAMU cannot be the “conference champion.” Proclaiming yourself to be the conference champion does not make it so. Also doing so, probably violates the self-imposed sanctions that the school submitted to the NCAA. Doing so certainly is a violation of the MEAC’s position.

What conference are they champs of? This is the saddest cry to be relevant I have ever seen, truly sad. Based on this, I expect them to be sporting “conference champs” rings at the coin toss next year, truly sad. This action shows they accept no responsibility for their predicament.

Here’s my question to FAMU: Did you ask your legal department if you could/should bill this as an event to celebrate your “conference Champions?”

FAMU finished with the best record in BCF and the MEAC...A&T can still have fun in ATL on a technicality. But we’re gonna celebrate finishing with the best record among the HBCUs...it shouldn’t bother A&T fans one way or another I believe after this post, I may be deleted from this site. It. Is. Okay. We Aggies should be preparing for an FCS playoff game on Saturday on the road. But, based on transgressions by some in the past, the present FAMU team was punished resulting in this year's postseason ban. They won the conference on the field and we did not. They have every right to celebrate that accomplishment in any manner they see fit - in my opinion. Let's remember, after beating us last year, they were alone in 1st place AND held the head-to-head tiebreaker on us. We all know how that turned out (#choke). So, yes, they should celebrate this season. I noticed that their Celebration of Champions has some sponsors attached to it. That should be applauded. Other than our 2017 season, when have we had a public celebration? Are we haters? So, yes, we will gain national television exposure (again), earn a half million dollars + (again), have the chance to be crowned Black National Champions (again) and fellowship with Aggies from all over the country (again) --- at the expense of FAMU's failures (again). I don't think it's worthwhile to criticize what FAMU is doing for their team - especially since WE should be celebrating our team publicly - in my opinion. We're acting like the Rattler faithful --- and I thought we were better than that. Oh, and that Sunday game in Tally - FAMU had just a little more poise than we did - believe that or not - in my opinion. The final score reflected that. Let FAMU celebrate while trying to find a way to beat BC-U. And let us let them do...THEM. And we do...US. (#chicken)

Im not a hater. I’m okay with them saying that they beat us, they won more games than we did, they won more games than anybody else in the conference did. Those are facts. It is perfectly okay for them to celebrate any of these facts. I’m not okay with them saying that they are conference champions. The conference determines how the conference champion is determined. . Rules are rules. Facts are facts. Presumably, as a member of the MEAC, FAMU agreed to abide by the MEACs rules.

I don't have a problem with what FAMU is doing. In fact I think it's pretty cool. They can't let those guys go 9-2 with the best record in D1 HBCU football and not honor them as champions? If the situation was reversed I'd expect us to do something similar.
