i used to be able to spell "pissed off" with a "y" where the "i" is in an attempt to not be so "explicit" with that kind of language. but the spell check feature on this message board now corrects my spelling! i normally spell "cool" with a "k", but this darn spell check keeps correcting my spelling! it wasn't doing that before.
what's up with this new spell check function? how can i inactivate that bad boy? can the user disable spell check?

I haven't touched any settings on the board in years.
It could be the auto-correct on your phone that's making those changes.

It could be the auto-correct on your phone that's making those changes. i've been typing from my laptop the vast majority of the time. oh well, i guess i'll have to pay closer attention to the spell check feature on this message board or either come up with a creative way to avoid auto correct when i attempt to keep certain language clean... |

Who knows. It might have been an automatic update to the forum software.
I will take a look and see if I notice anything different.
