It’s time to move on. It’s the week tens of thousands of Alumni and fans return to Aggieland. It’s known as the Greatest Homecoming on Earth or GHOE for us younger alumni.
We face a bottom of the barrel Howard team that has kids leaving the program willingly. This should be a cakewalk, however, pending injury reports and suspensions, and an overall letdown could make this game too close for comfort.
I hope we’re focused because we have another big, playoff-like game November 2nd in Orangeburg. We gotta take care of business this weekend or else we can kiss our return to the Aggie Invitational AKA GHOE Pt 2 goodbye!

Before the L last weekend I expected us to soundly beat Howard. But after that embarrassing loss, I'm looking for someone to kick in the family jewels! And Howard will do just fine. So let's come in on a mission and give our subs lots of reps after halftime.

This is a very scary game. We should win big but what team show up or allowed to play is a mystery

Let give Howard a little break. They did help us get to the Celebration bowl last year. I think were just going to move the ball up and down the field all day. I know Carter like to roll out and run the ball but I want to be a little conservative. I hate that we are not going up against the following Preseason all MEAC 1st team:
QB:Newton WR: Ezzard

Has the FAMU loss and the weather for this weekend damper the game a little. Maybe only 1/2%

The team may tend to get too high or too low, but they fight.
It's homecoming. They'll fight. Might start slow but like an avalanche they'll pick up momentum.

Team is usually a little distracted during GHOE and sometimes starts a little slow. NSU gave us a game for a half before we got serious last season. Coming off of the FAMU loss I expect the coaching staff to have these guys ready, especially since we won't have Mac and Bell for the first half.

Five Aggies to watch in Homecoming game vs. Howard By Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com 3 hrs ago N.C. A&T wide receiver Elijah Bell is the school's all-time leader in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. H. Scott Hoffmann /News & RecordGREENSBORO — It’s billed as the Greatest Homecoming on Earth. What better game for a wounded team to get well? No. 18 N.C. A&T (2-1 MEAC, 4-2) will host struggling Howard (1-2, 1-6) at BB&T Stadium at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Aggies have won eight consecutive Homecoming games since Sam Washington’s arrival, the first seven as Rod Broadway’s defensive coordinator and then an eighth last year in Washington’s first season as a head coach. And they’ve won those games big, by an average margin of 29.9 points. Now A&T comes in stung and seething after a chippy 34-31 overtime loss at Florida A&M.
