That is why you don't get unnecessary unsportsmanlike penalties. They both did it and thought none of it in the first half. Now just look atcha self, just look at cha.
Win out or not, FAMU will be talking for decades about how they beat the CB champs both years. SMH

I am curious as to what the hell your All MEAC wide receiver and cornerback did to merit disqualification and how could that happen. Secondarily, how do you lose 40 seconds getting into a play. We used two timeouts early in the half when there was no threat of bad field position. We are an undisciplined team who will luckily still go to the Celebration Bowl because of FAMU'S postseason ban. But we won't be an elite program until we play with smarts, discipline and improve its offensive efficiency. We should have won this game. I hope they sit Carter and let Fowler play at Howard because the kid has to get some burn for the future. Exactly. The jaw jacking and stopping to that trash talk football keeps us from being elite. Let the scoreboard do your talking. Coach has to reel this in.

I know Bell and Mac are having lonely ride back saying what if. I still find it strange that they specifically were disqualified. Could they have been targeted by FAMU, since their emotions were high and they got PF penalties early in first half? Who knows? Will they have to sit the first half of the Howard game? Interesting.

In re penalties and behavior, it seems our behavior tightened up in the second half.

Players Suspended or not, we let this one get away. 32 seconds left you get first down we still have 24 seconds left and we cannot get going until 7 seconds left. That's just poor.

I not one to criticize the coaching staff but the last minute of the game was terrible. I was saying look at the clock. But that's water under the bridge Let's regroup and take care of business AGGIE PRIDE

I'm still questioning a few calls, but it is what it is. The CB basically ran threw Leslie on the jump ball and in OT. Then he motioned to run the clock when Leslie was clearly out of bounds at the end of regulation.

Bell for talking junk to the DB from FAMU and McCain for taunting after recovering the fumble. Every player on both teams got one for the fight. Once u get 2 you're out. Plus they sit 1st half at GHOE

Professor:
How knowing you (as an upperclassmen) have an unsportsmanlike penalty already, do you even get yourself in that predicament. Secondly, how as an official do you eject two of the most important players on a team in a game of this magnitude (two players who have no history of being malcontents). I will add the officiating in this game was dubious at best, particularly the end zone routes where the db for FAMU clearly faceguarded Leslie. I cant' recall a single holding penalty against their OLine all game. Leslie will be a beast next year if we can find a QB that can get him the ball. And Bell is yet to show up against the better teams!

But once 37 for A&T sprinted form the locker room to the FAMU locker room entrance, the refs had no choice because because the fight sparked back up. Trust me, the officials knew the importance of this game and did NOT want to eject anybody.

WEAKNESS: COACHING, OUR SECONDARY, GAME PREPARATION, PICK YOUR POISON!! No. I can't say all of that. FAMU is a good football team. Their QB is the best in the conference and their defense is only second to ours in the conference and they proved both things. All of their wins have been this way, this one was no different. Sometimes, you take the loss and move on. At least OSA got his chance to see Fowler. I was mad for about 20 minutes, but now I'm really not sad or mad about this one for some reason because we played a good team. What that proved to me is that FAMU is not NCCU. LOL! I guess the best word to use is DISAPPOINTED. We had our chances. I agree. These were two top teams doing all we could based on the circumstances. I cant be mad at the play ON THE FIELD! But man I'm still mad as hell that for 2nd year in a row, we fell for FAMUs bait and started jawing back and forth early and often. Who knows what could have happened if we didn't lose Bell and Mac for 2nd half.

We should be okay, if we understand what's in front of us.
