An A&T pop-up-shop will be open downtown during Homecoming. It is located on Elm St. across from the Civil Rights Museum.

If you are looking for lots of low cost Aggie tee shirts, caps, and jackets for the whole family and you can't get to the pop up store, check out the Greensboro Walmarts. I've got 6 grandkids to outfit with Aggie gear so I shop for deals.

The apparel the bookstore offers is starting to get boring and repetitive. All I bought this year was a toboggan and gloves. Alumni who are designers are offering more creative designs, and it's also cheaper a lot of the time. It would be nice if the school could collaborate with some of theses designers.

The university is contracted with Barnes and Noble to run the bookstore and its merchandising.

The university is contracted with Barnes and Noble to run the bookstore and its merchandising. That explains it then. The school is missing out on a lot of money. A lot of the young alumni base is buying their apparel from the alumni designers.

When you have six grandkids to buy for, you can't shop in the A&T/Barnes and nobles store.

I witnessed this first hand Saturday. Two senior alum were talking about how they liked an item, but there was no way they were going to pay $64 for it. There was a pair of nike sweat pants I wanted, then i saw the $70+ dollar price tag lol.
