Only a few chances for movement in front of us in the polls during this bye week:
No. 1 NDSU (5-0) vs. No. 10 UNI (3-2)
No. 2 James Madison (5-1) vs. No. 5 Villanova (6-0)
No. 3 South Dakota State (4-1) vs. No. 19 Youngstown State (4-1)

I really don't see any chance except maybe if NDSU blows out UNI. Nobody's really moving below us over losing to a ranked team. We could move DOWN if YSU beats SDSU convincingly. YSU is being shafted in the polls btw.

The winner of Saturday’s showdown in Orangeburg will make movement in the FCS STATS Poll.
If SCSU wins, I think that they might break into the Top 25...especially if 4 ranked teams lose.
If FAMU wins, they should finally receive votes.
A BCU win over NCCU should have no effect in the poll.

I don't see a FAMU win registering with the voters. They got killed my FBS team, handily beat a DII team, the rest of their wins are against teams with a combined 5-12 record of which they didn't beat by more than TD(PAT). This would be their first (so-called) quality win.

IF they were to beat SCSU on Saturday, I think that they will garner some votes. And I’m NOT saying that it would be enough votes to get into the Top 25, but they should get a few.

Well,
#6 Montana St. loss to unranked Sac State 33-21
#9 Towson loss to an unranked Albany 38-21.
Let's see how this shakes out

Dont forget about No. 10 UNI. They lost 14-46 to No. 1 NDSU yesterday.
I think that beatdown is enough to drop them behind us at least.
Also, Towson has now lost 3 straight. They might drop back down to the 20s ... or out the poll completely.
I could honestly see us climbing 3 spots to get our first top 10 ranking of the season this week.

FAMU got 10 votes. SCSU lost all theirs.
It's a big week.
