Of course the big south tv announcer was high on several substances and referred to us as AT&T for the whole last quarter even after I can almost guarantee you the play-by-play guy corrected him. Cocaine is a hell of a drug indeed, and how Jeff Spicoli got an announcer's job is beyond me. That color announcer sounded like he needed to be someone on the Venice Beach boardwalk drying off from a day of surfing instead of FCS football color commentary.

Eh... that was a poorly thrown ball by Carter with too much air on it and didn’t give Bell enough room to clearly stay inbounds on the catch. Great effort though by Bell to have even caught it and force another look at the catch. I thought that Bell caught that TD with a toe-drag. ( The young man is so talented. I remember his TD vs NCCU here, I believe where he did a Tarik Stretch over the pylon with one hand a half a second before his foot stepped out of bounds. The Reff, not believing the dexterity, placed it at the 1 yrd line). I felt some home cooking down there. I just hope that the camera coverage continues to improve. That what you need at these campuses are better digital cameras and more of them. What happen once a call is made on the field unless there is a definitive reason to overturn it the refs are going to stay with the call and if the footage is bad then why even have instance replay.

These conferences will need to cough up the dough to pay for these additional camera angles so instant replay will be more than a guessing game.

The fix will be Mac coming back against Del State. Mac and McNeil are 2 very good CBs for an FCS program. You right but that is not going to fix our offense who has not scored a TD from coast to coast since the Elon game!!!! We got to get that fix especially not scoring in the red zone.

At that time we became AT&T and stayed that way. He knew what he was doing.

I thought that Bell caught that TD with a toe-drag. i agree. the officials missed that call in my opinion. how do they miss that call but give csu the "bobble" td? so i agree that there were several questionable calls in that game, but i also agree with thrilla, most of our pass interference calls against us were legit...

Hey let's be realistic...do you think we're ever going to get refs to call a game fairly when we are playing a PWI on their home field? I never expect "fairness" when we are playing in somebody else's stadium. Especially PWIs!

Needed Bill Hayes, who stopped the game at ETSU and had a face to face with the officials. Their officiating was all "home cookin" until he had enough, and called time out and stormed onto the field to confront them about their officiating.

Bell had possession of the ball while dragging his left foot. Plays that were close could easily be called in favor of CSU. And they were. You have to beat teams like a drum in games like that.
