AggieRattler thanks. I shared your post over on Onnidan. My pops was his classmate at A&T. He always brags about how we had some of the best basketball in the country when he was a student.
However, he became a very valued mentor to me when I started working in the NBA in 1988. He's a straight shooter and has never steered me wrong. I communicate with him mainly through his son fairly often nowadays. As you said, he is great man. And he is definitely a proud Aggie! |

Seeing that old A&T emblem on the curtains in the background of the induction ceremony is special. Mr. Attles really has A&T on this display in his home!

I think that he has health issues , during the Warriors last finals run ,he attended a game and it was stated he hadn't been able to attend games in a while because of his health . |
