regarding elon's qb, by contrast mac mccain went down last october the same as elon's qb but mac won't be playing against elon. coach said mac may not see action until conference season starts.
now, i know playing qb versus playing db are two different things relative to the stress placed on an acl. but i like the approach that our coacing staff is taking with mccain, bringing him along slowly. whereas it might be a tad bit risky for elon to start their qb less than a year after coming back from acl surgery.
i guess we will see come this saturday. but i hope his mind does play tricks on him saturday night...

The wife and child hinted this morning an interest in attending this game. This year I only bought one season ticket because the others were basically going unused. In checking the A&T ticket website, almost all the home side is sold-out (sections S-Z), less than 200 are available, and four of the 10 sections (section A-H1) on the other side are showing sold-out. If the students show up in decent numbers we could have a huge crowd on Saturday night.

Perfect weather for a football game. No excuses folks...should be a big crowd. Sure hope we don't lay an egg in front of all those folks!

Since they have a good team this year more fans may show up elon has a small "fanbase". their student enrollment is a little more than half our size and their average home football attendance is also a little more than half our size. i've never seen elon bring more than a "hand full" of supporters to aggie stadium, especially at night games. so i'm not expecting anymore than a "hand full" of elon fans in aggie stadium this saturday even though they should be able to bring at least one or two thousand since they average about 8k per home game last year...

Since they have a good team this year more fans may show up I don't think it has anything to do with how good their team is. Based on how cheap their season books are, they obviously have trouble getting folks to come to their games. And they sure as heck aren't coming to our campus "at night" to see a game. There will be about a bus load of their fans clustered on the visitor's side but that's it. This is "our" stadium and we shouldn't have to depend on visitors to fill the stands!

I'm probably one of a very few who doesn't care if the other team's fans or band show up, the less the better. I don't want to hear a sound of celebration for anything the other team does except a fumble, int or a pick six. I remember a couple of years ago I went to a Redskins vs Eagles game at FedEx. You would have thought you where in Philly by the crowd noise. It does us no good to have our opponent being cheered. Aggie Stadium is the place where we shouldn't "Keep Hope Alive" for the other team.

Definitely find it interesting that Fumbah is listed as the starting Will linebacker. Must have been making some plays in practice over the last couple of weeks.
One of the most glaring omissions on this depth chart is Stephen Davis. Jr. Hopefully he is eligible to play this season and becomes a part of the rotation at outside linebacker or rover.
Also, I am pretty sure Mac and Kittles aint playing this week.

There are a few other names missing that will hopefully play Sat.
